Agreed. She is a "polemicist" in the true Greek meaning of the word (it means "combatant"). She combats with her words. That is fine. That appeals to certain segment of people.

The kind of articles that turn me on are analytical ones that get me to think. George Will is one such writer. There are other less stuffy ones but I can't remember them right now.

I prefer analytical over polemicist.

Excellent analysis. I only need to add that what makes her insults so devastating is that they're true. Sen. Kennedy is a drunk. His driving did lead to a woman's death. Radical Islamicists are ignorant murderers who are stuck in the Middle Ages. Democrats have advocated treasonous positions and policies. Nothing is more cutting than an unpleasant truth that everyone is trying to hide. She shouts these truths and makes them humorous. Not that she's perfect--sometimes her cuts are petty and personal. But that's the other subtext--she, like Rush, is imitating the Left's modus operandi and using it against them.

As a lover of truth, I love her polemicism.

Ann is great for pointing our where the left and even some repubs are completely full of horsesh#t. I think that she has made it her mission to expose the other side for being the frauds that they are. I find her a little too personal and mean spirited at times which detracts from her message but she is certainly no intellectual light weight either.

I have found myself laughing uncontrollably with some of here comments.

I like Laura Ingram as well although her morning show sounds a bit juvenile at times. But, she beats blow hard Hannity any day of the week.
