She is a "polemicist" in the true Greek meaning of the word (it means "combatant"). She combats with her words. That is fine. That appeals to certain segment of people.
The kind of articles that turn me on are analytical ones that get me to think. George Will is one such writer. There are other less stuffy ones but I can't remember them right now.
I prefer analytical over polemicist.

She advocated converting the Middle East to Christianity - sure I would love that, but it is not going to happen until Jesus returns. She said we SHOULD, which you just agreed with, so I don't see your problem.

I find her very entertaining and provocative but I also believe she is considered a 'bomb thrower' by the middle (if there is a middle?). Laura, on the other hand, comes from a lawyer background and likes to engage the other side by drawing them in before she smacks them up side the head. I like that.I think we need both of them. Each does her "job" well. :-)

One must stroll away from convention to understand Ann's message-within-a-message style. Ann is a giver. She is giving the left back everything they have been giving a getting away with since at least television became popular. The only extra she throws in is a smile.Oh, that and truth. :o)

Thank you RaceBannon! FReepers need to stop putting her down like that! Some people are fortunate in that they can eat all they want, and never gain. Ann is one of them. Plus, she goes goes goes 24/7, and the adrenaline alone is enough to prevent weight gain. She doesn't sit still long enough!
Ann is fine, just the way she is.

Agreed. She is a "polemicist" in the true Greek meaning of the word (it means "combatant"). She combats with her words. That is fine. That appeals to certain segment of people. That's a good definition of Coulter. And she does a magnificent job of it. She is at her best on talking head shows where her one liners hit home. An analytical thinker would not do as well as Ann in such a setting.
For me her best was her work on Joseph McCarthy. Her worst was the piece she did for USA Today for the conventions. She was turned down and lost a great opportunity.
The kind of articles that turn me on are analytical ones that get me to think. George Will is one such writer. There are other less stuffy ones but I can't remember them right now.
I like George Will, as well as De Borchgrave, Gertz, Sowell, Noonan, Safire, and one or two more. On the other side, David Broder comes to mind first. I don't always agree with any of them, but I usually learn something.

Very unflattering picture! I agree, but then look at Ann, next to some of her feeble counterparts, if the left even has any! Randi Rhodes?? Maybe they have to make Ann look bad in the pic, so the lefties don't look absolutely horrendous in comparison. LOL

Nice pic. I used to have one just like that (if that one's Midnight Blue.) I love the sun glimmers in the shot. That model is one of the prettiest that D-B/M-B produced, in my opinion of course. ;-)

Isn't the Wonkette the one who is obsessed with anal sex? I read an article she wrote in Wired about Howard Stern and she mentioned buggery at least three times!

Ann's writing style is second to one when it comes to wit. I enjoy Coulter's columns but no one compares to Mark Steyn.

[ The kind of articles that turn me on are analytical ones that get me to think. George Will is one such writer. ]
George Will analyizes only as much as his liberal benefactors allow him too.. He is a Whore and a RINO.. He cannot speak the truth.. Liberals also love him.. because he don't say the truth.. The truth about democrats is hyperbolic in essence, and patiotic in spirit.. George would never do that.. His benefactors are NOT patriots..
George Will is a TOOL of the liberal media, a judas goat, to parse the truth into a watered down LIE.. which RINOs love.. George Will is the "conservative" for appeasement.. The conservative Neville Chamberlain of reasoning with Americas greatest enemy..
THE LEFT WING MEDIACRATS..
