Makes me just shake my head. But I think the border issue is a lost cause from the gov't. If GWB isn't going to do it, who will?

Thanks for your updates. Your report regarding the continuation of the project beyond April 30th is great news! Now if only there were enough money and volunteers to push the project across a wider portion of the border...

We are a nation of laws. It is the law abiding citizens of this country who uphold a society which offers opportunity to even the most humble laborer. All who would come are welcome, just follow the legal procedures for proper entry.

I wrote CBG off when he told me there were no illegal aliens.

Way to go, y'all! I wish I could be there to help you. I love AZ and this nation and I want to protect her from lawbreaking uninviteds.

That said...ask the Minutemen one day while you're sitting on your watch if they think they could gather enough people to form a human chain along the entire border. Maybe a FReeper with a little extra time could figure out how many people would be required. What a statement that would make to our government.

I mention this because I really feel that the Minutemen are going to continue to grow. Maybe this could be a goal?

Keep up the good fight, and know we are praying for you! The more you stand watch, the more the media will cover what you are doing, and the more America will learn about our porous borders.

Woo-hoooo! Thanks for your dedication and time given to our country!

About the only negative is that there are a few Border Patrol agents with yachts up at Lake Powell who can't make the payments on them anymore.

"All I've hoped from your side of this debate is honesty"

You may want to try that yourself.

All I've ever seen from you is the same old repeated BS. Watching you 'debating' the border issue is like an anti-gunner debate gun control. The same tired old stuff combined with personal attacks is all you have.

Luckily, that's the sign of a side that's losing the debate.

Good article. But what amazes me is that none of these groups takes any action until they feel threatened by a handful of American citizens. In their alternate reality, millions of illegals about whose backgrounds we know nothing, don't even show up on their radar screens, but just let 450 patriotic Americans congregate on that same border with the purpose of addressing the problem, and suddenly the stunstupid moonbats detect a threat Go figure.

Is he a racist, fat drunk too?

>>The guy works for Norwood. You really think he's going to report back and tell the truth?<<

Is lying to the boss an acceptable practice where you are from? Or can't your boss handle the truth?

RE: honesty

honesty is a two way street

If you bother to do a little checking you will find that the Congressman's web site lists his issues:

* Abortion

* Cloning

* Environment

* Fast Track Trade Authority

* Guns

* Medicare

* Social Security

* Taxes

* Terrorism

* Veterans

Check for which bills the Congressman sponsored. Immigration related? None out of five.

Check for which bills and resolutions the Congressman co-sponsored. Immigration related? There are seven out of 272.

1) Expressing the sense of Congress that amnesty should not be granted to individuals who are in the United States, or its territories, illegally.

But the President is against amnesty also.

2) To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to impose a limitation on the wage that the Secretary of Labor may require an employer to pay an alien who is an H-2A nonimmigrant agricultural worker.

3) To effect a moratorium on immigration.

4) To improve procedures with respect to the admission to, and departure from, the United States of aliens.

5) To provide for a temporary moratorium on visas for certain aliens, and for other purposes. (a second time)

6) To provide for a temporary moratorium on visas for certain aliens, and for other purposes.

7) To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to bar the admission, and facilitate the removal, of alien terrorists and their supporters and fundraisers, to secure our borders against terrorists, drug traffickers, and other illegal aliens, to facilitate the removal of illegal aliens and aliens who are criminals or human rights abusers, to reduce visa, document, employment, and voting fraud, to reform the legal immigration system, and for other purposes.

Sponsored ZERO and co-sponsored SEVEN in almost THREE HUNDRED pieces of legislation / resolutions bearing his name. The man's an immigration fanatic, I tell you! He's obsessed! Move over Congressman Tancredo! Sure.

Bump from a grateful Arizona native.

My many friends in Arizona refer to the Minuteman Project as a godsend. They are absolutely disapointed and disgusted that President Bush hasn't lifted a finger to stop the Mexican invasion.

Immigration is NOT an issue in Georgia, so it he surely isn't doing it to appease his constituents.

It was sent to Sean by me.

That's good news. I haven't been reading all of the posts on the border threads but isn't Hannity going to be down there sometime soon? O'Reilly is another one who wouldn't be afraid to show them on his show.
