#1. The ONLY reason a judge was brought into this was to legislate between two families. Things like this happen every single day of every week, all year long without judicial interference. But when families disagree, they have to act on the suit.

#2. Congress has no right to involve itself in this matter. None. If they want to pass laws that make such actions illegal, they need to work within a set of guidelines. Imagine if they said that no feeding tube could ever be removed. There go living wills.

#3. Moving toward the center...I can tell you what it means for me and for a lot of my neighbors. Absolutely no sympathy for the radical element within the conservative movement. None. And no support.

MUCH less $$ to the GOP and RNC. Try none.

Fewer letters to the editor supporting OUR position. Most of us are so discouraged and downright disgusted we just don't care. That's won't last forever, but for now, we're out of it and won't help in any way.

That's how ticked off people are. If our right to self determination is going to be fiddled with, I don't want any part of the party. None. THis is NOT what conservatism has stood for in the past.

"#2. Congress has no right to involve itself in this matter. None." Do you actually know what Congress and the President did in this matter? Do you understand the fifth and fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution? Do you understand what a de novo trial is? What hoot ... you and Howlin are becoming the evening entertainment.

Absolutely no sympathy for the radical element within the conservative movement.

That's key. There is such a struggle to educate the common voter, so many issues, so little time... and the candidates have to speak louder to be heard. Their tone is key as they try to sell their version of fixing America. Those that tout America's greatness will do MUCH better than those who want to preach doom and gloom and shove self-righteousness down our throats. The citizens want ANSWERS. They don't want finger pointing and blame.

Like you, I was around many people.

But a much larger crowd from around the country. It was a class reunion where families were invited. They were in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, some 60's. The majority felt that the GOP will be enhanced. Some moderates have moved more conservative. Some were not concerned about the appointment of judges before - now they are fully behind Bush in his efforts for certain judges - the ones the left are opposed to - pro-life judges.

So this case did the opposite of what you claim. There was a few demo's there who have been enlightened, also. They did bring up King - couldn't understand his stance but they do understand the concept - RINO. Also, they praised Jeb for his stance earlier to reinsert the tube but then it was declared later unconstitutional as opposed to those who did nothing. They don't like the judges making laws from the bench.

For what it's worth - The young ladies - in their 20's and 30's were repulsed by MS and NONE believed that Terri said she would not want to live and would not want to be rehabilitated. Even the guys jumped in on that one - and laughed at how MS got away with that one - more-so, with having a mistress and two kids w/her and was still allowed to be her guardian.

Also, I got a different reaction when I return calls from the GOP.

Strange, don't you think - how we got total different reactions from our friends and acquaintances. Well, maybe not that strange after all. :)
