Did Oklahoma City Bombers Have Help?

One month after the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing (search) that killed 168 people, authorities demolished what was left of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building (search). Officials said the implosion was a necessary part of the psychological recovery for the citizens of Oklahoma City. But critics question the FBI’s tactics and argue the building came down too soon and the implosion is one piece of a government cover-up. Survivor VZ Lawton remembers the events after the attack. “I was in my office at my desk signing papers and all of a sudden the building began to shake,” said Lawton. “The lights went out, debris started falling and then something hit me on the head and knocked me out before the truck bomb ever went off.” Lawton and some others believe Timothy McVeigh (search) — who was convicted of federal conspiracy and murder charges in the bombing and executed in 2001 — and convicted conspirator Terry Nichols (search) weren't alone in plotting the attack. During the investigation the FBI circulated sketches of “John Does” and in response received thousands of conflicting tips from across the country.

But I can assure all that at my home here in OKC, there were TWO distinct reports separated by a second or less in time, and the second report was larger. Kinda of a "boom..BOOM!".

[Edit for poor sentence structure.]

my understanding is that you don't mix, you pour. Fill the container with AN, pour in the Fuel Oil.

When all is said and done... Where did the extra leg come from?

I have always wondered that myself. To whom does that extra leg belong?

I know this is going to make someone ofer me more tinfoil for my hat, but in light of the fact that mass murderers and other monsters sit on death row for 20 years or more, doesn't it seem odd how fast they executed Timothy McVeigh?

Because he was a political criminal not just a murderer. He was a danger to the establishment in Washington that had to show that if you attack the US Government you will be executed post haste.

This attack on that building was a rebellion, the Govt could not let it stand and would not let it be dragged out.

The damage that resulted could not have occurred from a van parked outside… I don't care how fancy an explosive was used. What did in that building… was an inside job.

That is correct.

The force of the explosion from the fertilizer bomb would have dimensioned as it went up and out. It would not have sheered off the side of the building from bottom to top like that. There had to have been other explosives planted inside the building to include the upper levels.

One of the Seismology centers somewhere near there reported 2 seperate shocks 8 seconds apart. The first one being far less than the follow on shock. This was reported very early on on the day of the bombing. By late afternoon that story was completely gone from the mix.

I remember reading that very same thing.

Reading Parton's analysis (an expert's expert on explosives), he says the damage to the building was impossible just by the truck bomb. Simply impossible! His analysis that many of the buildings interior pillars had to have charges wrapped on them perfectly explains what the eye witnesses (noted here) saw.

MrDem,

I have been looking for Parton's analysis but have lost it. That is where I also got my information but am going now on memory. Could you share it please? Thank you. Then again, I could do a Google search, and I will.

Did Oklahoma City Bombers Have Help?

I'd lay money on it.

And they're still out there planning the next attack.

So did Stephanopoulos on his Sunday program. Also the night of the "crash" Bernie Shaw on CNN threw it to Wolf Blitzer, then CNN white House correspondent. This was about 8:45. Blitzer's first words, with the White House behind him, were that Clinton would speak to the nation about Flt 800 at about 10:00 PM. Clinton never appeared. Other priorities emerged in the White House.

Somewhere there is an independent report from a well respected guy who examined the blast site and concluded that there was explosives on several of the main columns. I am sure somebody here has it.

More importantly I would very much like to interview the crew from CDI. They absolutely know the truth. Doug won't even talk about it I am told. End of story.

There is something I distinctly remember something about that day. Right after it was reported that it was indeed a bomb, there was a live report of another bomb being found. You could see people running down the street in a panic and police and fireman evacuating everyone and herding them away from site. A bit later there was a report about a woman named Dana who was pinned by the rubble and a fireman who had refused to leave her side after word of a second bomb had been put out.

This ran once and was never heard again. The second bomb bomb was never mentioned again. Not even as a "false report" of a second bomb.

While I am by no means an expert on explosives, I did blow up a lot stuff in the Army as a 60mm mortarman. The damage to the building always seemed somewhat too clean and surgical for my liking.

Janet Reno, Bill and Hill, and so many others they are legion.

Mainly, however, it deflected mainstream suburbanite and urbane angst from the Clinton venue and aimed it at rural Christians and others who had read the Constitution and wanted to keep their 'ugly' guns.

Lather, rinse, repeat, the MSM brought the questionable actions of the Federal investigating agencies in Flight 800, the WTC bombing, OK City, Waco, out of the wringer just spotless (in the MSM, that is), and all those nervous people who knew at their core that something diabolical was going on gladly bought the 'official' line and only furtively looked back, if at all.

With this came the onus of "Right winged Extremist" which was now levelled at anyone who had the audacity to question anything the Clintons did. Besides, there was O.J., Bosnia/Kosovo, slaughter in the schools and streets, and any number of other things to point to rather than the provenance of campaign funds, the location of nuclear secrets and guidance system designs, or even the choice of humidors in the Oval Office.

After all, the economy was doing 'fine' (thanks in part to the MSM illusion that nothing was wrong--no terrorists here, nope, nope!), the 'extremists' were back in the shadows, and the gay liberal agenda was moving along....

Thank God that the times have changed, but we must remain eternally vigillant, regardless of what party is in control.

We still have a lot of ground to reclaim just to get back to where we were when Reagan was POTUS.

IIRC, that was the seismology lab at OU. I don't know the physics of it all, but OU is considerable further from the Murrah Bldg. than my house...30+ miles vs. less than <10 miles. Increased distance increases time between blast/shock waves and differential between the two?

In the panic associated with his live coverage on 9-11, I heard Stephanopoulos refer to TWA800 as a bombing.
