Barrow is at the top of the state. The sun DOES NOT go down from mid May to mid July, and the sun DOES NOT come up mid November to mid January. Here in Anchorage the sun sets about 10p and rises about 2am in mid June.

I can't imagine that. Do you have anything similar to Barrow, where it is dark for a long period of time?
