I want to make a prediction:
The market will crash in the next several weeks or months.
Reason: Even though the market as fallen to about 10,000, we are see behavior that historically happens before/during a crash. That behavior is this:
1st day: Dow/S&P/Tran/ down 80
2nd day: Dow/S&P/Tran/ up 75
3rd day: Dow/S&P/Tran/ down 100
4th day: Dow/S&P/Tran/ up 100
5th day: Dow/S&P/Tran/ down 210
6th day: Dow/S&P/Tran/ up 150
What I am saying is the market is very volatile.
Reasons: GM/Ford having very hard time; Google is $220 per share - what is their product?
I could be wrong (or the tumor is talking), but like Greenspan said "we are entering a soft patch".
This volatility usually occur when the "big boys" are trying to get out of their positions (distribution) and lay their shares on the small guy (401Ks).
Just a thought,
