Interesting article JP, I lived right next to Rancho Mirage in Palm Desert.
Very small town, very wealthy residents. President Ford lives there, Walter Annenberg who started the legendary Racing Form among many other things, good friend of Ronald Reagon who spent many New Years at his estate. (donated a lot of bucks to Eisenhower hospital) The Firestone's lived there before his death and many many more. Sumner Redstone's brother lives there and on and on.....
Bill Gates and many more rich people also have houses in Palm Desert.
