The ADL Terrorist Symbols Database

The newly launched Terrorist Symbols Database at ADL features visual symbols, flags and graffiti associated with more than a dozen international terrorist groups, including Al Qaeda, the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades, Kurdistan Workers Party, Palestine Liberation Front and the Muslim Brotherhood. Each entry features a snapshot of the terrorist group’s symbol or emblem, an explanation of the origins and meaning of the symbol, and an overview of the group’s mission, goals and recent activities.
