ARTICLE SNIPPET: "It was first discovered in the month of June last year. It uses Bluetooth connectivity to find vulnerable mobile devices in the surrounding and passes itself over. Mikko Hyppoenen, head of anti-virus research F-Secure said: “Once you have one infected phone, it will try to beam itself to other compatible phones… This virus is only traveling when people travel the world”.

The virus however is not as easy to spread as PC based viruses. The potential victim has to accept a connection from the already infected device and than accept a file and run it. Even with this low probability, the virus has managed to spread quite rapidly. Experts blame it on the ignorance of the end user who gets lured by invitations to download and run files pretending to be wallpapers and screensavers."
