You gotta love the Civic. One of the most reliable cars in the world. I particularly like it because it is practically invisible, especially if it's black. I drive in Atlanta traffic every day, and I drive fast. Up to about 100 it handles like a dream, after that it can be a little scary. My only regret is that it doesn't have enough giddy-up. I've driven my 97 for 119K and have only changed the tires, oil (strictly), filters, and brake pads.

Well, not all. My friend is a former NASA official and his Prius averages 50 MPG. He lives out in the country and needs all the help he can get to make the drives to and from the grocery store. He is a far right Republican too and eats normal foods. The waiting list for a Prius around here is now six months. Must be something about wanting to save money and I certainly do as my retirement pay does not increase with inflation.

It just screams, "I'm a vegan weenie!" Not as much as this does

Joanne McCann just bought her second Prius and wants to sell her first one. "I paid a little over $20,000 for the car in '01, and I'm selling it for $15,000," McCann said. With 19,000 miles on it, she feels this is a steal. In other words, she got tired of her first Prius after only 19,000 miles.

Well then give me his address so I can send him a bumper sticker that says, "I'm not a vegan weenie."

Imagine if the bike had been a Boss Hoss. The car would have been cut in half.

(Song) Oh My CJ-5's got 4 wheel drive and Smokey's got a Ford.
Can't remember the rest of it . . .
Hudson's are great cars. Wish I had a Terraplane or a Hornet. But when all is said and done, you couldn't afford to drive a '49 Hudson far enough or fast enough to catch me. :)

Summit Point is road course (2 miles, 10 turns.) I'd never drag it, it wasn't built for that.

I wonder what model you're driving. I drive a 1998 Civic HX CVT two-door coupé and thanks to the unusual CVT automatic transmission, acceleration is very good and I still get 33-36 mpg, depending on how I drive. I may keep this car for a while.
To: Cowman
I have two of these.
I hang them off the side of my truck like you might hang a lifeboat off a ship.

I got broadsided in my 78 K-5 by a Suzuki somethingorother. The Suzuki front end was a mangled mess with pieces all over the road. Damn thing busted my right rear tire.
