I did OK with Norton Internet Security 2003. But when I upgraded to a newer version, it seriously hosed my machine, and would not let me uninstall it. I lost Internet connectivity completely.
Norton's advice line told me to log into their web page and download a fix. Idiots.
There is no doubt: Norton sucks.
But there is a solution: Buy another product.

Norton's advice line told me to log into their web page and download a fix. Idiots. Same here. I had to uninstall and reinstall two times yesterday. I have so many corrupted files. It said something bad about my windows XP but I didn't catch it. Everything is crazy on this end with this thing. If it wasn't for wanting to come to FR, I'd toss this thing that likes to make an idiot of me.

Everytime I have used Norton it has done some bad stuff to my computer. I hate it.
I use McAfee without any problems.
