BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- A trio of animal-rights protesters didn't find any welcome mat when they stopped at a KFC, but the restaurant manager did turn on the sprinkler system for them.
Manager John Olivo turned the sprinklers on full blast to soak the protesters from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals who were standing by the curb. They were campaigning for more humane methods of killing.
The protesters, including one in a chicken suit, were followed by a man with a microphone who said he eats beef

A man and his two stepchildren picketing a fried chicken restaurant? Looks like the kids' Mom picked the wrong guy..AGAIN. I thought the man and his stepchildren were passing out ANTI-peta pamphlets; i.e., they were counter-protesting PETA.

Ah, you're correct. I read it too quickly.
Still I like the dinner theater idea. I don't eat at KFC, but I would gladly go into this one for lunch to watch 'the show.'

I think the original saying was something like- mad as a wet setting hen- hen on nest can't get off while it's raining, so all she can do is sputter! Make mine extra crispy!

Ahhh...heh heh heh!
I always kinda figured they are so overbred that they don't have the instinct to come out of the rain any more. The still know how to "come home to roost", though.
I remember one time two of the chickens got separated by the ac unit outside. They both just freaked out! All this squawking and crying! I went running out there and kinda shooed them together and they were fine. LOL I mean, literally, they were just a few feet away from each other, but had an ac unit between them! It was hysterical.
You can click on my name to see my chicken pics on my profile...
I want to raise meat chickens too, but we do live in just a regular neighborhood. The neighbors have been extremely tolerant of our six hens, but a bunch of meat chickens might not go over too well! LOL

Which, depending on the barer, helps or hurts their cause :)Women with good bodies want to parade their genitals.
Women with bad bodies want to hide them. Ah, women's lib. More excuses to not do the right thing.
PETA-fems aren't much different from any other fanatics. They just have a all-male and under-40 women audience, because of their nudity, just like porn movies and other Hollyweird trash that comes out via the big and little screens. :o) So there.
