Cop killer Kamel Bourgass was yesterday unmasked as Osama Bin Laden’s master poisoner — with a mission to murder as many Britons as possible.
Fanatical Bourgass, who stabbed detective constable Stephen Oake to death as police closed in on an al-Qaeda cell, spearheaded a terrifying plot to terrorise London.
The gang planned to smear lethal ricin poison on door handles of cars and shops in the bustling Holloway Road, North London.
They even intended to open toothbrush packs in shops, daub them with ricin and re-seal them.
And the alarming campaign also involved a cyanide attack on the Tube, targeting passengers with a pump-style garden spray gun.
Recipes and ingredients for several poisons — and chemicals that could be used in explosives — were found when police raided Bourgass’s secret lair, a flat in Wood Green, North London.
The plot was disclosed publicly for the first time yesterday as Algerian Bourgass, 31, was given a 17-year jail sentence at the Old Bailey.
He is already serving life for murdering DC Oake and knifing three other cops during an escape bid.
He was convicted of the killing last year but legal restrictions linked to the terror plot meant a shroud of secrecy was thrown over the case until yesterday.
A Sun investigation also discovered that fellow conspirators had discussed the deployment in Britain of suicide bombers.

these freaks need public elimination, they say the death penalty doesn't deter crime but at least the guy we put to death is not doing it anymore.
Should be hung, but Britain doesn't have the death penalty.

Bourgass stayed in Britain for three years before his capture — despite being ARRESTED for shoplifting and being fined in court.
Six of the eight acquitted were last night being held in immigration detention. Two have been released as they have permission to stay.
Home Secretary Charles Clarke denied the case was an “embarrassment” for the Government. He added “a very close eye” would be kept on the acquitted.
Clarke is a bigger idiot than his predecessor.
