Well, if I had my swimming pool damaged by a panicked moose I'd be sure to sue the owner of the sausage-loving dog that caused it.
Now there's a sentence in the English language that I never thought I'd type.

Ping for the Norway ping list.
You know, I am getting deeply suspicious about any differences that appear, between the Norwegian-language news, and the news that is translated into English for the rest of us.
It appears that the news Norwegians read (in its original Norwegian) is much more interesting than the news the rest of us read (translated into English).
We get the moose-and-reindeer stories, while Norwegians (and those who can read Norwegian) get the good stories, as demonstrated by Kurt_Hectic earlier this morning (everyone was pinged on that one).

Sounds like we should be allowed to shoot any dog off a leash or without a collar. After all, feral dogs are dangerous.

Norway is too dangerous.
Why not try a holiday in Sweden this year?

When hunting moose are outlawed, only moose hound owners who can't control their dogs will hunt moose.

They can have my moose-spooking sausage-loving dog when they pry it from my cold dead hands.

My dog would run through a brick wall to get to one of these:

And I won't even mention what happens if she thinks there might be a chance at getting a real piece of bacon.

Well sure, but Scooby is obviously a Great Dane, AKA Danish Boarhound, not a Moosehound.

Episoden skjedde under elgjakta i Bamble i Telemark i oktober 2003.

I've noticed that too. If you're more into the numbers side of norwegian news the ssb is an exelent resource. They do have an english version, though I wouldn't consider it fluent.
http://www.ssb.no/english/ Don't miss the statistics a-z on the left, the front page only gives you a narrow selection of surveys. There is also a selection of links on the right.
The ssb also links foreign sources of statistics:
