Thank ye matey!!!! LOL
Absolutely. I agree about one person not holding the conservative movement up but...Rush sure as heck is holding up his share, isn't he? We like that too about Rush that he doesn't cave or waiver. He believes in what he believes in and holds his ground. That's how ALL people should be but...they are not. So, God gave us Rush! :)
:)
Yes, you are right. Sean is OK...we dont' listen to him anymore though. As for Sean being in Ohio and Where was Rush from the other poster...well, Rush never hits the road like Sean does. It's not his ballywick and we all know he did PLENTY in support of George W. Bush and his reelection. Sean I believe will not pass the test of time. Rush? He's forever.
So Rush should be punished by paying a larger percentage of taxes than you because he is more successful?
Tom Delay hires family members to run his campaign and pays them with private donations and he's the devil-incarnate; JFK makes his brother AG at taxpayer's expense and he's a saint.
This too will pass... You'll hate at least half of us within the year.
Savage is a savage...
And mentally unstable.
I've kind of thought that too. He doesn't seem like someone who is conservative by conviction, but a loud mouth who knows the right buzz words and hopped on the money train.
Didn't know Rush was signing bills and passing legislation. Softening rhetoric is not the same thing as being elected and doing NOTHING.
I cringe everytime I see one of these tasteless, stupid Independent Baptist signs.
Rush doesn't have to be "out there". He never has. His influence is behind that microphone.
The CINO/RINOs here at FR are just a very vocal minority. You are certainly more representative of the true heart of Free Republic, along with posters like AlohaRonnie or JohnHuang2 who exposed the treason of the Clintons and has never backed off.
Tell all of these MoveOn Wusses who've never sacrificed anything to look at yours' and JimRob's biography before they suggest you just "get over" traitors like Kerry and criminals like the Clintons.
No, it isn't whining. He's not complaining about a lack of friends. You're missing the point. He's talking about how every four years, the GOP nominee goes on his show and "uses him" to speak to the base pretending to be the second coming of Reagan only to govern like the second coming of Johnson.
You can't reach into the cartridge box, but you can lock and load in the ballot box...
For all his issues with mushy politicians, he has never tried their situation. IF they do such a deplorable job, then it must be because they are frauds or inept to begin with. So why not replace them. Because the job is harder and the constituents demands are diverse.
Secondly, many of these politicans come from states that have diverse politics. Delay can get away with some of his tactics because he's largely safe. Same for Barbara Lee Jackson. But many others are in liberal or moderate leaning states or districts and their consituants don't wany a Delay type representing them. So that's why you have Chris Shays and Olympia Snowe. A hardline conservative ain't gonna win there. Even look at Alan Keyes, he can't win a seat in a moderate to liberal leaning state. So much for when a conservative runs as a true conservative. As I've stated in earlier posts, it's easy to complain and point out all the flaws, so why not run for the elective office and make a change. Maybe because it's too much work? And maybe he couldn't do the things he claims the others won't or can't do either?
Yes. But hypocrites also dexist outside of elected politics.
Choosing to live in two Liberal bastions is hypocritical.IMO
I wonder how sincere the guy really is about what he preaches. Maybe its a big put-on for him.
Someone hiring family to be part of their campaign seems perfectly supportable to me. I just don't see the problem with it.
They have to raise the money. How they spend it to get themselves elected is their own business.
Kerry kept about 17 million dollars of his campaign donations. He can never run again and keep all that money when he gets out of politics.
Is anyone screaming about that?
