"They should remember the political maxim that while the law will take care of the guilty, when a politician is innocent of the charges being thrown at him, he can only be brought down by his own side."

>>A party that would voluntarily cut off its own testicles and FedEx them to their opponent as a trophy is not likely to manifest any regenerative powers.<<

Every time that Republicans fight and win they lay back congratulating each other while the other side takes it all back.

When Delay convinces the White House to close the borders then he might just get some cash from me again but not a dime until then!

Yeah. Republicans are such "friends," they stab each other in the front.

I have been hesitating to register as a Republican for a long time. I am watching the Delay saga, and, more importantly, the filibustering of judges. When the Republicans become men, I will join them.

..........Tom DeLay has been the most effective majority whip in living memory, never having lost a vote. He has engineered passage of every vital piece of Bush legislation as majority leader (sometimes with as little as a single hard-sought vote difference). By his tough work in Texas he has almost assured Republican control of the House for at least another decade. (I say "almost," because a party of nitwits and cowards are capable of throwing away anything.) ..........

BUMP!

Tony sure knows how to turn a phrase.

Brilliant!

Mike Gallagher was on "Fox & Friends" this morning (4/16) and was talking about Tom Tancredo's having suggested that DeLay maybe should step aside for a time...he definitely did not agree with that. They were hoping to get Tancredo on the phone later during the program but I didn't watch the rest of it.
