Hillary losing in senate race to Giuliani
Marist ^

Posted on 04/12/2005 2:10:32 PM PDT by Patriot814

Giuliani beats her 49% to 47%. 51% say they would definitely vote for her. More people don't want Hillary to run for president than do. Giuliani should reconsider running. for more go here http://www.maristpoll.marist.edu/nyspolls/HC050412.htm

Rudy better bear the Witch. Otherwise she may be returning to the White House. Of course the way Bush has been kissing up to Clinton lately she may return anyway.

I'm hoping Guilani doesn't run for POTUS. He'd make a great Attorney General though.

At least we don't have to worry about chicken-feces Jeb Bush running yeah!

And you base your comments on... what?

. But I am also a realist, and understand that political wins involve compromise and coalitions.

Wonder who that man was that said, "Mr Gorbachev, take down that wall" & walked away from him in Reykiavik. Sorry, Diddle but sometimes ya got to stand for ones own principles & quit the compromising. Rudy is not red state material.

Giuliani needs to run for Governor of New York State. He's not a legislator; he just doesn't have the temperment. And it's long past time Pataki got shown the door.

I agree. ServesURight is either too young and ignorant of history, or too old to remember it... I really wonder why he made these kinds of statements about Jeb Bush. Jeb is a GOOD man. I'd love to see him run for POTUS; but realistically, he'd never win due to the "Bush Dynasty Sydrome" that the crooks on the Left would cook up.

From what I understand, Rudy's not going to run for Gov. either.

Somewhere he's gotten the idea that he's got a shot at the Republican nomination in 2008.

I would probably vote for him, unless someone like Mike Pence was on the ballot. But I don't think he has a prayer to win - a Republican needs the religious vote and Giuliani doesn't have it and can't get it as a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual candidate.

I wouldn't vote for Jeb Bush either. A President has to act to protect the rights of Americans, not cower behind a tyrannical judiciary.

His chances of getting my vote - ever - died with Terri Schiavo.

Somewhere he's gotten the idea that he's got a shot at the Republican nomination in 2008.

If that's true, he needs to be medicated.

The only shot he has at higher office is to run for the Senate. Otherwise, nada...

The choice so far is: Hillary or Rudy. Go Rudy!

You are absolutely correct. Thus far, we have no strong candidate. Running against a woman is going to proove very difficult. Just ask Rick Lazio. The media will make mince meat out of any male who dares to stand up to her.

My suggestion would be to run Jeanine Pirro or Peter King. Pirro because she is a woman, has a reputation as tough on crime and fiscally conservative but also pro-choice and has a base in Westchester county. King because he has a base in Nassau county and can potentially light up the Catholic suburbs of Brooklyn and Queens (the only problem he'd have is his closeness to Gerry Adams, especially after the McCartney issue.)

I wouldn't expect either of them to win but they can beat up Hillary bad enough to leave pools of blood on the floor for her run for the White House. At that point she'd be a rotting carcass and could probably not survive the primaries (or she'd stay in the Senate.) Pirro or King could get 47-48% of the vote, which would hurt Hillary.

Millions of pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun conservatives would never vote for either, ever, for anything, in either a primary or a general election.

Might want to include that fact in your political calculus.

In fact, it is people exactly like that who make up the bulk of the GOP nominating electorate, and who provide the base votes in November.

Guiliani is simply not electable as a Republican as POTUS.

Ask John McCain.

And compared to Rudy, he's a hardcore rightwinger...

Hillary really has done something. She is the HILLARY CURSE. She has prevented the Yanks from becoming World Series champs since she was elected. New Yorkers are paying for what they did just like Boston paid for trading the Bambino.

Jeb is a better man than U R.

A better man wouldn't have been bullied by a lowly circuit court judge.

The better man extended her life over a year than what it would have been. Also, a better man knows when to not become a hypocrite and become Bill Clinton.

I really wonder why he made these kinds of statements about Jeb Bush.

Let's see, a Governor gets his power usurped three times in five years.

(1) Janet Reno defies a court order and sends Elian Gonzalez back to communist Cuba

(2) Kangaroo FL State Supreme Court magically creates a law out from their behinds that supercedes the FL state constitution

(3) For a week in March, a lowly county judge briefly becomes the most powerful person in the world

It could have been worse. I could have used the profane term for feces to describe Jeb.
