More of that strange Tourettes syndrome that seems to be epidemic in Europe.

Still waiting for their big "Saddam bribed his way through 10 years" headline.

I don't remember seeing any Germans at Tora Bora? They have no right to be critical.

Yeah, what right moves did Germany make at Tora Bora? I missed their troop deployment.

Okay, and how long have Nazi war criminals been living on the lamb, 60+years? How much money did they steal from the 10,000,000 Jews they killed? At least the US is trying to recover Bin Laden. You don't see too many German Nazi hunters do you?

Shortly after the invasion of Afghanistan the US commander, General Tommy Franks, acknowledged that some Afghans were probably accepting bribes to free al-Qaeda or Taliban fighters whom the US wished to interrogate - although he did not name Osama bin Laden himself.

And four years later German intelligence repeats the statement. Excellent work, intelligence guy!

Yes, they lost WWI & WWII. Don't forget to mention that the unemployment rate in the German socialist centrally planned economy is twice that in the U.S. Maybe the Germans need to add one more to the unemployment line: their intel chief.

Is this guy just now getting around to reading what was actually going on back in Oct.-Dec of 2001? For an intelligence officer he seems a little slow on the tick-tock. Lots of really old news seems to be being brought up lately. As the President has said: "I've yet to hear of a Monday morning quarterback winning a game."

It's the same old template the Left always uses....if there's nothing in today's news that you can take out of context and twist into an anti-American tirade, just use old news and do the same thing.

Germany has been ahead in the curve. Gas prices were $1.25 when I was over there in the 70's.

This item is hardly news, we could trust the Northern Alliance for most the part because they detested the Taliban and Bin Laden killed their leader but I never trusted many of those Pashtun tribes working with the US - I remember the Pashtuns refused to allow the NA to come into their territory to help hunt down Bin Laden, but don't forget all these guys had been in Bin Laden's back pocket just a few weeks earlier......and loyalty follows the money in Afghanistan, especially in Pashtun country

however the US didn't seem to have much choice if they wanted to get any Pashtun co-operation at all....

Did he spend more than the $25 million reward that the U.S. had has on his head?

As we know from our own "intelligence" agencies, a lot of heads of intelligence aren't too intelligent.

This mouse expects people to hear him?

Stuart Little has more credibility.
