On the question of CODE PINK, I do understand why you don't like this group. But my question is really why you are attacking them IN PARTICULAR.

To: MichaelTHeaney

You've obviously not been to too many Free Republic protests. If you had, you would have known that CODE PINK is not the only group that Free Republic protests against. Other groups/people that Freepers have protested against are International ANSWER, Vietnam Veterans against the War, The Media Fund, MoveOn.org, and Al Gore ("Get out of Chaney's house") - all of which deserve a good Freeping. I guess the reason CODE PINK was chosen for the March 19th Fayetteville rally is that this group had the latest in a string of outrages by various peacenik groups. The outrage CODE PINK is responsible for it donating money to terrorists. These terrorists can then purchase explosive belts to strap around their bodies to blow themselves up and kill our neighbors who have chosen to keep you and me safe by going after people who would ram another plane into another American office building if they had the chance. From a terrorists point of view, if you are an American, you are in the crosshairs. Terrorists especially "like" American civilians. How do I know that - 3,000+ civilians (most of which were Americans) died on September 11, 2001. Terrorists don't care if you are Democrat or Republican, for/against the war, young/old, religious or not, or whatever - they would kill any American if they had the chance.

If terrorists want 72 virgins to take care of them, I say let the U.S. Armed Forces put them on the Paradise Express to Allah. I just hope that the politicians will get out of the way and let the troops do their job the way it's supposed to be done. Also, the reason we can take for granted the freedom we have here is because our neighbors in the U. S. Armed Forces are keeping the eternal vigilance required to keep us free.

Make sure all of this gets into your research paper. And, yes, I was at the Fayetteville Freep.

Hi Michael,

Is Richters still in business in old New Haven?

If you really want to understand Freepers, all that is necessary is to read Whittaker Chambers, F.A. Hayek, Edmund Burke and perhaps CS Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. If Yale has maintained its selection standards, you will be able to infer the rest.

Also (this is just a suggestion, but) if you want to better understand the relative numbers between leftist and right-leaning protests, you may find some correlation (and perhaps even causality) in employment patterns and career and familial choices.

PS: I was also in Fayetteville. Hey, d'ja notice all those socialist banners among the so-called "peace movement?" Who'da thunk?

I don't think that such behavior constitutes "trolling."

If you had posted post number 10 as your initial post, you would not be trolling because everything would be upfront and above board.

However, your initial post leaves out a lot of information which suggests you are not an independent researcher but an opposition researcher and someone who is not entirely comfortable disclosing important facts about yourself. That does indicate that you are indeed most likely to be a troll

He just wants to defend the left and grope for straws to rationize his position. He is just another waste of higher education.
