Sounds like good news. However withdrawing uneeded troops will be spun as a retreat by the left.

It amazing how quiet the mainstream media have been over Iraq lately. They just can't stand the fact that they were wrong and that President Bush was right.

Whatever happened to all those Hollywood types who promised to leave the United States if Bush was re-elected?

You mean the same ones who promised they'd leave if Bush was elected back in 2000?

They'll try to spin it that way but I don't think most folks will see it that way.

It shows the situation in Iraq is getting better and things are mostly in control. I expect the left to counter this by saying this is a retreat. Just typical...

I'm glad to hear that may be the case, though I wouldn't pull them out until the government is a bit more secure and has a better footing.

A book battle has broken out on Publisher's Row over the ultimate Hillary-attack!

The project being billed as "Hillary in the Raw", like you've never seen her before, is set to drop in September by liberal Ed Klein, former NYT MAGAZINE editor, VANITY FAIR, PARADE contributor and author of multiple works on the Kennedys.

"The revelations in it should sink her candidacy," a source close to Klein warns the DRUDGE REPORT...

I guess the left would consider us giving Japan Iwo Jima back a retreat as well.
