Isn't that "enry iggins"? Luckily, I have my wife, who puts me through enormous trials and struggles with her balance of logic and emotion, whom He granted me to balance my logic and most times, lack of emotion. Men/women....such a delicate yet powerful balance. Who knew?
Hi Mary.
FMCDH(BITS)
After I posted that, I've been singing "The rain in Spain, falls mainly on the plain" to CT all evening...:)
Sounds like you and your wife got it right. I too, am lead by my emotions. I jokingly call myself a "dumb blonde", and sometimes have felt inadequate about my lack of formal education (I'm just a HS graduate). CT has re-inforced to me that life experience is a good thing as well.
In my case, my daughter made up for my lack of higher education, as she has 3 degrees, was a four time Big Ten Scholar Athlete recipient, and married a wonderful man who is now completing his MBA.
My son is more like me, kind a dreamer and artistic type, but is working fulltime and taking classes. And he and his fiance are going to make me a Grandma in October, so life is good!
