It's amazing how the Communists, a tiny fraction of the world's population, have managed to either penetrate and/or control so many so-called "public interest" groups.

We as a society dropped our guard. Now they must be rooted out -- it would be an ugly task if ever undertaken.

One of the few claims Greenpeace has made that has any substance was the charge that French agents blew their flagship, The Rainbow Warrior, out of the water in Auckland Harbor in 1985.

Sadly, someone thought that should be a crime.

Everyone I know has always referred to environmentalist groups as Watermelons: Green on the outside, red on the inside.

Bleh, I hate Greenpeace, but I think killing whales is wrong. There's something special about whales that isn't so special about cows.

ok, let's get this straight:

GreenPeace, PETA, Rainforest Action, save the whales, ACLU, the UN, save the chickens, etc.. every leftist interest group which pulls on the heartstrings of many who join, are nothing but vessels to propagate a socialist/communist agenda....nothing more nothing less....capiche??!?!!?!?

One must make allowances for DEGREES of COMMUNIST CONTROL...but overall, to put in your words, yes, these groups are but vessels to propagate a socialist/Communist agenda (very well put, I might add)--TTS

The communists were fragmented by the collapse of their Soviet Savior State. But they have adapted to the new situation very well. They are continuing a war that the majority of Americans wrongly assumes is over.

You're posting a lot of 15 year-old New American articles today. Okay, two. But in general, I think if 15 year-old articles are posted, the poster should explain the current relevance. In general, a more recent article on the topic would be better. (Just one freeper's opinion, and not official policy.)

I think they should all go to Red China and protest against the incredible economic devastation there if protecting the environment is what they REALLY believe.

Otherwise, I will conclude that they are protesting for some other reason.

I thought the current relevance would be obvious to all. Greenpeace was created to wage Red War...and they continue to do so to the present day. The period piece I posted above arms conservatives with the truth about this insidious organization so we can expose their real agenda everytime they decide to "make the news." In short, you don't debate liars, you expose them.
