This is good, as she is a consummate A$$ to begin with.

"Surely there's a way to get some concentrated support to be able to make more high-profile appearances and protests.
Perhaps the problem is alot of small groups who are not coordinating finances and effort for specific events to make a better impact, especially in the media.
Can't we have, or is there one that could take the reins, an over-arching organization that can make better use of people power and whatever finances are available? We've got some logistical and organizational hurdles we need to get over to make some better progress."

I agree with you

If you hadnt already done so, please check out my posts 24 and 28. There really are some very high powered folks out there wanting to get this thing organized and off the ground out in the grass roots! Judge Moore, Alan Keyes, Lamar Smith, and quite a number of VERY capable people were serving on panel presentations during their conference on this issue. I dont know, but I think the stopactivistjudges.org folks would welcome the kind of spirit and commitment us FREEPERs could bring to this effort.

We thought 100 to 200 people would attend, in fact there were between 40 and 50--almost all of them FReepers.

Frankly, that's not a bad turnout considering it was held on a weekday when most are working. How many came from CFJ as their site boasts a coalition of 75 grassroots organizations?

Thank you so much for representing us. I wanted so much to be at this rally and the Terri Schiavo rally representing my state. I wasn't able this time but this is the closest I've came to dropping everything for activism in a decade. I never thought I'd want to attend another rally again, and I dont but these causes are so important and this group is so good that it's all but inevitable.

Thanks to all of you for being there and representing us. Our numbers will grow, they always do when the causes are this just.

kristinn, thank you for all you did to organize the March for Justice II. It was wonderful to meet you, Jim Robinson and sooooo many wonderful Freepers from different parts of our great nation. The speakers were absolutely outstanding! It was very impressive to have people from Calif, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Virginia (freeper Sova...(don't remember the entire screen name)is a dynamo!!) with state flags flying....an awesome sight.
Carrying letters to our Senators' offices was a great idea! Myself, Shetland (?sp)and her daughters (who flew from Miami just for the day!)delivered letters to our Florida Senators. We also stopped in to the offices of Sen. Obama and Bunning and we joined the Pa. delegation in Sen. Hatch's office. At each office, we told the Senators staff members we were looking for a fair up or down vote by the full Senate and ALL Senators should have the right to represent their constituents. We met Sen. Lugar in the hallway. I introduced us, explained why we were there ...told him, we're not looking for rubber stamp approvals but want a fair discussion and a fair up or down vote by the full Senate. Asked that he urge his colleagues to give EVERY Senator the freedom to represent their constituents. Sen. Lugar was very cordial and said "thank you for your testimony".

Today, at a Republican Women's Club meeting, I spoke about FR's March for Justice. I handed out copies of a list (which I think Connie gave out at the March)of GOP Senators who are uncommitted to ending the judicial filibusters. I also gave the toll free number to the Capitol which JulieRNR provided. The President of this Women's Club attended the Coalition for Fair Judiciary Conference in DC. The two of us URGED all members of the Club to begin calling, emailing all Senators to end the filibuster threats and allow full Senate to vote.
The Pinellas County Republican group meets on Monday evening and I'll ask Chairman to provide members with the toll free number and ask that they call Senators.

Again, Jim Robinson and Kristinn thank you for taking the initiative on this critical issue. And, NautiNurse, thank you for introducing me to so many good freepers and fellow patriots. Thanks too for the great company as we 'tore' around DC (my shins are still hurting...lol).

Can you identify some of the speakers please.

Sorry, I can't. I wasn't able to be there (California IS too far away).

These are proud2beconservativeinNJ's photos. I am sure when she gets her ping she will come and identify the speakers.

I wanted so bad to be there, but it just wasn't to be.

Yes, I wanted to go also. It was just too expensive to fly back there from California, especially so soon after the Inaugural Ball.

MIDI - DEVIL IN DISGUISE

(I've been warning you...I've been warning you)

She looks like she’s evil…acts like she’s evil…talks like she’s evil
Come on, get wise…she’s the devil with big thighs
That’s Hillary-y…devil with big thighs…oh, yeah

I have called her Satan’s Daughter…that should be clear to all
One more person agrees with me…ask Mary Sheila Gall

She looks like she’s evil…acts like she’s evil…talks like she’s evil
Come on, get wise…she’s the devil with big thighs
That’s Hillary-y…devil with big thighs…oh, yeah

If she’s given much more power…our nation’s gonna fail
She’ll be laughing right in your face...showing her horns and tail

She looks like she’s evil…acts like she’s evil…talks like she’s evil
Come on, get wise…she’s the devil with big thighs
That’s Hillary-y…devil with big thighs…oh, yeah

Devil with big thi-ighs…oh, yes, she is

What clearly is not conjecture is her extremely large butt. I'd never noticed or heard about that feature, but she must be extremely comfor

Hmmm, must be a more recent development. I wonder if "old crusty" still fits?

Unfortunately, we arrived late to the March For Justice from west central PA, so I missed most of the speeches.

However, it was a great day!

I took my family, and we dropped off letters at Senator Santorum's and Senator Specter's offices (they were both out) urging them to help put a stop to this unconstitutional filibustering of Judicial nominees.

Specter's office even gave copies of the US Constitution to my three kids!

As Owl_Eagle noted, after going to Senator Santorum's office, we got off the elevator on the wrong floor, and had to go down a long hallway to exit the senate office building we were in.

We were walking along, and some woman came up behind our group real fast, and said, "Excuse us! Excuse us!"

I looked over my shoulder and saw 3 secret service agents, surrounding Hillary Clinton. Hillary passed by us just a few feet away. We whispered to the kids and told them who she was.

We all followed her down the hall, it was a real laugh.

Owl_Eagle leaned over to me and said, "She really DOES have a big butt!" (or something quite appropriate like that.)

It was a beautiful day, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. My kids met Jim Robinson and we had our picture taken with him. (I can't recall now who took that picture. Could you post it?!?)

The kids saw the White House, the Capital, the Supreme Court, and the Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson monuments while we were driving into and out of DC.

It was good to meet you, Jim Robinson, Kristinn, Owl_Eagle, Marylander, and all the other FReepers! This was really my first "FReep" though I met some FReepers at the March For Life several years ago. Thank you all!
