Comcast bought Adelphia yesterday, and Mr. Taugher's rates will be hiked to pay for the acquisition.

I blew up last week and said I was going to BellSouth DSL if they didn't give me a deal similar to the introductory offers out there. They caved in and I have a great hi-speed internet rate for three months. Then I'll dump them and go DSL. Comcast can go eff themselves

Actually the Comcast-Time Warner-Adelphia deal is not a done deal, yet. Cablevision gets another crack at it before anything is decided. But I would think the Comcast/Time Warner deal will most likely be the one to be accepted.
