Prayers for TexasCowboy!

TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.

Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.

So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.

Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!

Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

that in 2002 TexasCowboy began a petition to send to Congress to STOP The Endangered Species Act.

The precipitating thing was the attempt in Oregon to divert the river waters so the precious fishies could 'survive.'
(They actually were multiplying!)

As a consequence, farmers who held water rights could not get enough to maintain their crops.
It received major national press attention, Fox News Channel's William Longeunesse reporting on site.

They and ranchers and the loggers of the northwest all suffered, making MANKIND the truly Endangered Species!!
Unable to farm/ranch/log because of protected fish, spotted owls, etc., they were unable to support their families, trickling down to grocery stores and department stores and restaurants and every level of local economies. Many lost homes/bsinesses and were forced to move away.

Praise the Lord for your encouraging report!

God will use this trial to refine you as pure gold if you allow Him to do so.  At times, it may feel as if He has hidden Himself; if so instead of doubting, search your heart and allow God to refine those hidden areas.  I write this humbly and as a broken man who has much sin to answer for yet God has shown me His mercy.

And when you can feel His tangible presence, be thankful.  He knows your weaknesses and your need for reassurance.
