Yahoo, White House

Posted on 04/08/2005 2:01:14 PM PDT by MJY1288

President Bush and the First Lady attended the "majestic" funeral for Pope John Paul II today in Rome. The President and the First Lady, as well as, Poppy Bush are heading for the Ranch as I'm typing this. The President spoke to the Press Pool on the way back from Rome.. It is a must read, I will post a link to the interview

Here is the photo taken of Jenna in Spain during the walk pilgrimage she did

And here is the photo of Queen of Spain in the back of the truck.

And here is a photo of them all meeting in Texas. A very informal picture/dress which shows the closeness of the relationship

Another thought I don't know if they do this in the States but they do in England. Once library books get worn or withdrawn for whatever reason not popular etc they are often sold off quite cheaply that maybe another option to think of. Also I have found a good source of children's books to be charity shops often you can get a whole series of books quite cheaply if you so happen to go into the shop when someone has just had a clear out of their children's books.

Now this is the jeans photo that I have a problem with noticing the dog LOL

Also this photo I hardly notice the grand daughter notice the slight unshaven look rather suits him pity it was taken 3 days after he had his last heart attack sort of takes the shine off the photo but nevertheless it is a "hot" one

I changed my mind. I don't like her looking like that. Don't like it at all. Never want to see her looking like that again. That's all I have to say about that.

Very interesting insight. These public figures really are in quite an exclusive club aren't they?

Here's the BSAEC* for my area.

Kindergarten: must be five years old by a date somewhere around September 30 to enroll
1st grade: 6-7
2nd: 7-8
3rd: 8-9
4th: 9-10
5th: 10-11
6th: 11-12
7th: 12-13
8th: 13-14
9th: 14-15
10th: 15-16
11th: 16-17
12th: 17-18 at which time the graduate is seven times smarter than all his elders combined

Some elementary schools end with the fifth grade; others at sixth grade. Next level is usually called middle school, at least on the Left Coast (used to be junior high). The final third is for high school.

Someone just wrote me that something would be a "blast" (boomer term meaning "a really great time").

I was wondering if that expression is still in use, or if Gen Y (9/11 Generation) has another expression to mean "a really great/fun time."

You're the only one I know who seems to be really plugged in to today, so I thought I'd ask you.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle (may be slightly too old for now.)

Sorry, but I thought this book was awful. The young female character was always wailing and fearful. It annoyed me to death.

I have a hardback copy I'll send anywhere for free just to get rid of it.

Would you like it?

Swiss Family Robinson, by Jonathan Wyss. Get an old edition. I think they edited out all the prayers in the new edition.
