"He's never explained what the hell he was doing with nails in his basement."
I'd have a hard time explaining the cow turds on the ranch, and nails in my garage. "Bomb-making materials" they call it.

"Though I am not a Rudolph fan, his bombings were "targeted" at gays and baby killers, noyt innocent civilians." I don't think the lady (target) in the park that he killed was either of the two. May he rot in hell for his crimes.

Excellent analysis. And pithy, too!
Always glad to see the bad guys plead guilty. Saves all sorts of time, money and media attention.

"...nails in his basement..."
So what - I've got nails in my basement. You don't have any nails? In your basement?

Well, I think that's why he was suspicious of Rudolph's involvement...didn't seem to fit his usual victim profile.

"I'm not letting Jewell off the hook completely. He's never explained what the hell he was doing with nails in his basement."
Don't forget the FBI confiscated his mom's Tupperware as being potential bomb making equipment.

Depends. Were other charges dropped to get him to plead to this one?
Someone else on this thread has posited that this case didn't fit Rudolph's usual victim profile, and that maybe something is amiss here. I could see a prosecuter, desperate to get a conviction in this high-profile case, offer a deal to make some of the other charges go away.
I have absolutely no evidence of this, I'm just bored and stirring up trouble... :-)

"Well, I think that's why he was suspicious of Rudolph's involvement...didn't seem to fit his usual victim profile." He confessed. Would an innocent man confess and accept life imprisonment for a crime he didn't commit? Now they need to prosecute all the folks that aided and abetted him for 10 years.

Have fun. I have no trouble to offer this evening. All my road rage gone, too! :)

But it's fine that abortionists go on to enjoy their way of life.

Well, in my very weak strawman, yes, if there was lots of other worse stuff they could charge him with. Y'know, you plead guilty to these very public and embarrassing cases for us, and we don't charge you with 400 counts for the child porn we found in your backpack.
All of this, of course, is sheer whimsical speculation from Friday afternoon boredom...

What does that have to do with bombing innocent people. That sounds like the Palestinian response for bombing innocent Jews. If abortionists break the law prosecute them. We are a nation of laws (except when it comes to immigration), and we are no better than terrorists if we sanction the homicide bombing of innocent people.

You sit there and shut up boy, if you dont want everybody knowing about your special relationship with Jenna Jameson. Shut your mouth. Jenna only loves me, not the rest of you wankers.

Though I am not a Rudolph fan, his bombings were "targeted" at gays and baby killers, noyt innocent civilians. You may want to re-phrase this.

But it's fine that abortionists go on to enjoy their way of life. Whatever the faults of others, this guy is a terrorist scumbag.
Or would you feel better if he was back out on the streets?

I don't sanction it - just pointing out that Rudolph bombed (I still have my doubts but since he is taking a plea I won't quibble) an abortion clinic and those who provide abortions kill way more than Rudolph did.

I have all my porn tapes marked "Rutgers Football". Who's going to watch it to find out?
