Finger in chili may have been that of woman's deceased aunt
KFI AM640, Los Angeles, John and Ken Show | April 7, 2005

Posted on 04/07/2005 6:32:39 PM PDT by John Jorsett

Just heard a "this just in" flash on KFI AM640 in Los Angeles that the police in Las Vegas have executed a search warrant on the home of the woman who found a finger in her Wendy's chili. Police suspect the finger may that of the woman's dead aunt.

Of course I also wouldn't be surprised if the body were exhumed.

That would be sensible. I just hope Geraldo isn't picked to do the live-feed coverage.

Las Vegas is such a SH***Y town to BE in....

I dunno. I've spent lots of time in both, and if I had to choose between LV and San Jose, LV wins hands down. Absolutely no contest. SJ is a dump, with a pain-in-the-butt airport, that worships a statue of dog poop.

Think I'm kidding?

"The socialists have some valid ideas"

If you wish to live in a socialist country, move!

No, the socialists have no valid ideas.

The issue is not always about "the movement", and the movement is not always about the "issue."

Broader themes and powers are sometimes at work, and Just causes can sometimes be hijacked by those with ulterior motives, or longer-term, political ideologies with clear-cut agendas. You should know that. The Socialists and their fellow travelers have different factions (Fabian Socialists, Marxists, Communists, Mixed-economy advocates, etc), each with their own specific set of goals and definite agendas. To deny that would be irresponsible and naive.

Yes, there have been some major problems with some very legitimate social and moral implications (Child Labor) which, thankfully, have been directly addressed. Some political organizations seek to capitalize on specific single issues and consciously use these issues to move people into line with their long term political agenda.

Your use of the phrase "religious right taliban" speaks volumes about your pre-theoretical assumptions and the ideological framework that you bring to the table.

Additionally, looking at America history from 1776/1783 to the present day, it does appear that the Liberal / Leftist persuasion has in fact been the long-term, agitating, propagandizing political force. From the property tax, income tax, family issues, educational issues, other issues brought up by Karl Marx in 1848, it appears that the Left has been the perpetrator with the devious long-term political agenda….

The Left has had a major, negative impact in a Big Way upon the original Agrarian, American Republic. We are 100 years well overdue for a “correction”

Okay, now the kids want to know why mom is laughing/crying hysterically in front of the computer?

I love chili and I drink jalepeno sauce straight from the bottle when stressed out.

Hmmmm, let's say that on the average each woman passes on her mDNA to two daughters.

20 years per generation, 5 generations per century, 5 centuries.

That's 225 descendants.

That's a bit over 33 million. Given the world population of 6 billion, you can still rule out 99.5% of the people as relatives.

Real replacement rates are closer to 1.2 to 1.5 daughters/generation for most of history.

At 1.5 it's about 25 thousand descendants...

I bet her settlement amount drops to single digit range.

Wendy's is going to sue this lady into bankruptcy and then get a punitive damage assesment which can't be extinguished in bankruptcy. So after she gets out of jail for attempted insurance fraud, she will have her wages garnished forever.

Life is sweet.

Looks like he's been on here since 1998. Sleeper cell?

I have read the Communist Manifesto and a truck load of Socialist, liberal and communist writings, and continue to examine statements made by our friends in the DPRK, PRC and certain Russian elements as time and opportunity permit, and I have never bought into any of the propaganda or any of their AGITPROP (agitation and propaganda).

Same deal with the history books. Black and white photos. A few sad pictures. Some sad material about this or that. If true, FINE, fix the problem and move on and do not fall victim to the Socialists' long-term agenda. They use pictures, images and one-sided stories to influence people and "hook" them into a longer-term agenda.

I don’t buy it and never did. Read the Commie Manifesto and search for Marx's 10 major goals/points, and it looks like the Leftists are "on target" to achieve most of them.

Screw the Left. Too many Russians, Cubans, Romanians, Chinese, Koreans, and others, have suffered under Left Wing Socialist regimes and schemes.

Bottom line: if there is a social problem, FIX IT and reject the Fabian Socialist and long-term liberal agendas.

End of story. OR maybe not the end of the story ...

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY -- JUST WHY --- IN OUR NATION'S HISTORY SOME HAVE SOLD, OR TRADED FOR FAVORS AND/OR GIVEN MILITARY AND OTHER SECRETS TO THE RUSSIANS, AND NOW THE CHINESE ??

I have some hunches, I have some hunches .... still collecting info.

But I think I have discovered "motive" ... The motive is, get this, Political. Connect the dots.

Political.

Quote: "I drink jalepeno sauce straight from the bottle when stressed out." No way!

BTW, I was hanging out with some of the buds n' their gals one Friday night and I ate some of the wassabee that was (sp.?) lying around after the Indian food dinner. Anyway, I announced later that I would eat the whole pile of it. (why did I do this??) [not smart]. I chowed all the stuff and my eyes started to pop out. My tongue felt like it had just been paved over with hot, boiling pavement.

Whoa... fire, lightning... It felt that I nearly burned my mouth out and torched my eye sockets from the inside out.

No way, I am not qualified to be a Judge of "good" [?] Texas chili, no maam. I can't imagine that Chili can get much "better"[?] than a small plate full of wasabee.

No Texas chili for me!

"The mitochondrial DNA is totally separate from the nuclear DNA."

I was in search of the structure that determines the female heritage in cell biology. Is it ribosomes or some other? I have forgotten the science. It is not X or Y major chromosomes in reproduction. Slapping myself in the head isn't working.

Your use of the phrase "religious right taliban" speaks volumes about your pre-theoretical assumptions and the ideological framework that you bring to the table.

A reasoned rebuttal.

Yes my choice of words were a bit extreme but after the last two weeks of nazi death cult not out of line in my opinion.

The Left has had a major, negative impact in a Big Way upon the original Agrarian, American Republic. We are 100 years well overdue for a “correction”

Not sure what you mean here; the industrial revolution removed any thoughts of some utopian agrarian republic. Do you wish to return to some pre-industrial age?

The left had very little impact on America until FDR. The most benign leftist ideas like child labor laws, meat inspection, trust busting, or various other government intrusions into business were long in coming. I am not a socialist I am just trying to be reasonable in a place where that isn't allowed most of the time. No I am not moving either.

Heh heh heh, I have to admit to some pleasure at imagining her getting the book thrown at her. Considering the way our judges seem to be assuming the role of Judge/Jury/Legislature, though, I imagine she will be awarded a tidy sum for exposing the plight of those so desperate for the American Dream that they are reduced to such schemes, or somesuch foolishness.
