ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and Fox will all be covering it starting at anywhere from 3 to 3:50am. Haven't seen anything about replays. Set your alarms or your VCRs.

Thank you. I'm planning to watch the funeral, with coverage starting at 12:30 a.m. on the West Coast.

I'm releived the visitation and viewing are over. Now, for processions and music and fond memories...

Thank you for this very interesting information. I would imagine that EWTN is the best network to watch the funeral. Fox News' coverage starts at 3am EDT. C-SPAN will also carry the Holy Father's funeral live around 4am EDT.

Let's all remember to send a donation to EWTN in thanksgiving for the Pontificate of John Paul II and for the wonderful coverage they are giving to the events of this week and their apostolate in general.

I was hoping to be fast asleep so I might watch at 4:00 a.m. Doesn't look as if I'll make it.

I'm going to try to get up by 3am or so, pop a tape into each TV (2 TVs - one set to Fox News, one EWTN), and see how long I can stay up from there.

Yeah, I should be in bed right now... ;-)

I would if I could stay awake but it's 12:58 a.m. and I doubt I'll last that long, even with all the coffee I've consumed. Only two recent memories of an all nighter and both had to do with GWB's election results when nerves wouldn't allow sleep.

Thank you, Mother Angelica!

And thank you, Siobhan, for the reminder!
