I strongly urge everybody who can pick up EWTN, to watch it on that station. They have better camer angles as well as better commentary.More respectful, giving a Catholic perspective, unlike the other cable channels. Check their site for time. In California, they are going to show the repeat of the funeral at 11:00a.m.

Thank you for all you are doing. You are most welcome!
This will be a 3 hour Solemn Mass, much of which is steeped in tradition. For the majority of catholics, and especially non-catholics, this information will enable them to follow along and understand the significance of all the actions.
Your best bet for watching this liturgy is EWTN. Check your local cable provider for appropriate channel. It will begin at 4am EDT. Any running commentary will be given by a Catholic nun. The missalettes in .pdf format will enable you to follow along.
Bless you and please remember this humble servant of God in your prayers.

Earlier today I saw a thread on the precautions that the Vatican was taking against a terrorrist attack. I have spent the last hour searching for the thread, anyone have it bookmarked? I have been worried that this would be a prime opportunity for something to happen and would like to know what they are doing to guard against it. THANKS!!!

Thanks so much for posting this information. My husband and I (and perhaps our 18-year old and 13-year old sons will be watching it.) I am a convert to the Catholic Church (9 years ago) - so this is the only Pope I've ever known. (The ones before I never really paid much attention to - because of the obvious - still a Protestant at the time.)
I will most likely be watching it on EWTN.

Thanks. This Protestant appreciates the guide.
God bless this dedicated servant.

Thanks for posting this. EWTN will definitely have the most reverent coverage with none of the talking head nonsense.
