Arabs beat French students.
The Weekly Standard ^ | Olivier Guitta

Posted on 04/07/2005 12:17:39 PM PDT by Bushwacker777

On March 8, tens of thousands of high school students marched through central Paris to protest education reforms announced by the government. Repeatedly, peaceful demonstrators were attacked by bands of black and Arab youths--about 1,000 in all, according to police estimates. The eyewitness accounts of victims, teachers, and most interestingly the attackers themselves gathered by the left-wing daily Le Monde confirm the motivation: racism.

Some of the attackers openly expressed their hatred of "little French people." One 18-year-old named Heikel, a dual citizen of France and Tunisia, was proud of his actions. He explained that he had joined in just to "beat people up," especially "little Frenchmen who look like victims." He added with a satisfied smile that he had "a pleasant memory" of repeatedly kicking a student, already defenseless on the ground.

Another attacker explained the violence by saying that "little whites" don't know how to fight and "are afraid because they are cowards." Rachid, an Arab attacker, added that even an Arab can be considered a "little white" if he "has a French mindset."

We still have REAL MEN in this country outside of NYC, San Fran, Seattle. THAT's a major advantage we have over les petit blancs in France.

We certainly do, Clemenza. You can see them in Iraq and Afghanistan now, most noticeably. But you also can see them in the Heartland, those red voters that are our national backbone.

However, my humor is in that the French sewed the seed of their own misfortune.

As long as you're sure that while laughing at French misfortune, we are not sowing our own.

I can easily imagine the same thing happening here in the not too distant future.

My friend called that force to the toughest in history.

I agree with you, Hildy. I think it's frightening, because it shows how likely it is that TROP may actually gain some territory in Western Europe before long.

This is what happens when both sides have bankrupt ideologies: The bigger bully wins. Watch for the warlords to move in next.

I think I knew my Father a bit better than you did. My Father would not have laughed at this. Not by a longshot.

I can't believe you all think this is funny.

Even though the manners of death are very tragic, sometimes it is difficult not to think of the Darwin Awards as funny. Try to read a Darwin Awards nomination without laughing. It is hard. That is not a refection of poor character on the part of the reader, it is the nature of humor. For instance, this poor guy was drying his boots in the oven, while they were on his feet, and they caught fire. He ran outside, and flames spread to the rest of his clothing, and he rolled around in broken glass outside his house before dying. I read this on FR, and I couldn't help but chuckle. This should not reflect upon Free Republic, any more than the huge numbers of so-called Freepers who joined in the calls for Terri Schiavo' death on the basis that she was gurgling instead of speaking.

Needless to say, there is a great deal of irony in the situation of the French. In the article, the French whites are approached with demands for money, which they freely give, thinking that the appeasement will spare them pain or injury. When this fails, and they get there a**e* kicked for being weenies, there is irony. The very reason that they are getting their a**e* kicked is that they refuse to fight back, according to the attackers. This is ironic. Irony is, unfortunately, sometimes humerous, and the laughing is coming from an appreciation of the sublime, not a mocking of the victims, necessarily.

But we have guns and we know how to use them. Let a Muslim mob attack *anyone* in my town and they will be TOAST.

If anyone is going to kick the hell out of a liberal in my town it's going to be ME!!! I won't sit idly by while a Muslim does what Americans should have done a long time ago.

I grew up on the lower Eastside of Detroit and if they marched in my neighborhood they would not do well either.

I grew up on the west side of Detroit, a place were we don't lie down and take it either, French or not. The French over there had better get some guts or they won't have a homeland...they will all have to move to Canada

The general sentiment was a desire to "take revenge on whites."

What invariably happens when the dominant media preach a gospel of victimization. Charles Martel (Charlemagne's father, who turned back the Arabs at Tours) is rolling over in his grave.

Yup, nothing funnier for certain chuckleheads than mob violence directed at peaceful protestors.

It's shameful for these thugs to go on riotous rampages, but listening to their rhetoric, it is terribly funny how perfectly they have the Frenchmen pegged.

And yes, the French have brought this on themselves.
