"But of all God's miracles large and small, The most miraculous one of all Is the one I thought could never be: God has given you to me."
Then when God takes them back it makes clear that the 'Till death us do part' vow is little more than a phoney escape clause for the living for they never truly leave us. There is always a little piece of them in our heart. That is also a miracle.
Too many people give up on their marriages when they hit a rough patch. They either can't see a light at the end of the tunnel, or they are just too lazy to put in the work necessary to get through the tough times.
It is not the government's business to be involved in marriage at all. The problem is a moral one, not a legal one. Two people who hate each other will not live together regardless of what the law says and that amounts to the same thing as a divorce.
The words say "'til death do us part".
They were written in blood on this ol' heart.
We've been to the depths, climbed every mountain.
Been 39 years. Still countin'.
We've seen angry, and sad, devastated pride.
But, I'm still glad she was my only bride.
To love someone more than you love yourself.
You put pride and self upon a shelf.
Oh, others may interest you.
And, they may be attracted, too.
But, the bond was Holy, not just ink on a page.
Your hearts are bound 'til the end of ages.
Bless those that read, and believe, these words.

Divorce may be bad but I still wish Michael Shaivo had divorced his wife rather than have her murdered.
