The stuff in this article is a big DUH!
It's sad society has to read it in an article to understand how things should really be. Men are men, woman are woman, all the baloney in between is, just what it is: Baloney.

On a broader societal scale it is the confusion and functional compromise of the gender roles, led in large part by feminsim, to which much of the cultural decay must be adduced.
What this finding should do is free young, marriage-minded men to think like men, act like men, and treat women like ladies...
(I have little concern or sympathy for the non-marriage minded; sorry, I have one wife, have never slept around and don't identify with those who do).

Guess this included me, then. My hands are rough, from burns, scrapes, shocks, and pokes, incurred from my profession, and I do NOT buy grooming products at a salon(but I DO get my hair styled, and cut there, on occasion).
As for face cream, hand cream, etc-- isn't that what heat-sink compound is for ?LOL!!

"It just shows that there are some things that you can't change and that, while feminism for a long time has been pushing us towards androgyny with little girls with trucks and guys with dolls, women tend to have feministic traits and guys the opposite," says Carrie Lukas, director of policy with the Independent Women's Forum. "If anything, it shows what feminism hasn't been able to accomplish."

"Women are looking for confident men, not manly men," says David Wygant, relationship consultant and co-author of "Always Talk to Strangers." "These manly men are arrogant. Women don't want arrogant men." sounds like someone has sand in his vagina.

Ouch! This has got to hurt the "femi-nazi's".
It is arrogant to assume human nature can be defied because the small minority are tired of acting in accordance with their gender. Eventually people tire of "living a lie" and revert back to form. Men will act like men. Women will act like women. Just the way it is and should be.

Hold the quiche: Manly men are back In case the under-40 Freepers are wondering about why "quiche" appears in the headline... In 1982 there was a humor paperback published entitled "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche" which became very popular. It was one of the first prominent "backlash" responses to the touchy-feely social expectations of men which had been prevalent throughout the 70's (as a result of the 60's). Consequently, "quiche-eaters" became common slang for "non manly men", and "eating quiche" became synonymous with being a wuss.

My girlfriend requested I make her a quiche just two days ago. Quiche never leaves, baby!

ManCow on FNF just used (coined?) the term " the sissification of men."
Real women want real men.
Some lady who wants her man crying on her shoulders because he can show his emotions is also the lady who leaves whisker burns on his tender face.
