So! Do you see that bar at the top of each and every thread? That's a gentle kick in the rear to donate to FR to keep the lights on.

There's ALSO a bunch of you who've been here for years and haven't donated. Do you know that there's over 200,000 Freepers now? Do you know that you can become a monthly donor and PAINLESSLY donate? Do you know that $5.00 a month by a large number of us will STOP these stupid Freepathons?

Improve the site a bit so it doesn't look like something created in 1995 and I might consider donating. Then again probably not. If people want to be suckered into paying someone $250,000/yr to manage a site that should only cost 1/5th of that... power to them.

There are plenty of sites (discussion forums) that have a more user-friendly look to them. Allow users to view messages in a threaded format. At the very least, change the default font to a sans-serif font.
