Wolfowitz to End World Bank Funding of Poor Nations
Scrappleface ^ | 3/31/05 | Scott Ott

Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, headed for almost-certain approval as the new chief of the World Bank, said his first official move would be to withdraw funding to poor nations whose people suffer from a "low quality of life with little hope of recovery".

"I look at some of these impoverished people and think, 'I wouldn't want to live that way'," said Mr. Wolfowitz. "The most merciful thing to do is cut their funding and let these people slip into a peaceful, euphoric state through dehydration and starvation."

The new World Bank chief said he has the authority to deprive poor nations of food and water, since their leaders have been trying to do that for years.

Nice attack on the major reason public opinion has been against Teri.

Yes. Year after year, loan after loan, and the plight of these impoverished people never improves.

Should only loan to democracies as the others will just steal it and refuse to pay back.

Yes.

In fact, heard a good suggestion earlier this year:

=> That a new international organization be formed consisting of ONLY those nations who have achieved a functioning representative government.

=> The new organization would take over many of the functions and roles that the failed U.N. now holds and eventually supplant the U.N. for most purposes of international cooperation.

Well..............the premise may be bad, but the logic is obviously flawless..

Maybe Bush should nominate Wolfowitz for SCOTUS? How could the libs possibly object?

Take a look at our own Social Security lockbox and try to say that again with a straight face.
