Michael Schiavo's Insurance Company Contributed to "Death with Dignity" Bill Supporter
CLEARWATER, Florida, April 5, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com)
- The Jerger & Centonze Insurnace (sic) Agency, a company that lists its address as 2807 Marrie Court - Michael Schiavo's address - and has as a co-founder, Michael's girlfriend/fiancé Jody Centonze, was a contributor to the campaign of death-with-dignity bill champion Florida Senator Jim King.
"Conflicts of interest among key players in the Terri Schiavo controversy could give the United Nations oil-for-food investigation a run for its money," wrote canadafreepress.com Editor Judi McLeod. "Campaign contributors to the political campaign of district 8 [Jacksonville] Florida Senator James W. "Jim" King include Richard M. Jerger of Jerger & Centonze Insurnace Agency (sic)."
McLeod also revealed that, "Senator King seemed in a rush for Terri Schiavo to depart planet earth," quoting from King in an earlier St. Petersburg Times report: "I believe that there is a heaven and that's where Terri is going to go, and that's a trip that's long overdue," the Senator said. King was the key sponsor of Florida's death with dignity legislation. "Had God not wanted what happened today, He would have intervened," King claimed, describing the failure of the Florida Senate to pass legislation preventing the euthanasia of Terri Schiavo.
McLeod further pointed out that Senator King is also an acting member of the board governing the Pinellas Park hospice where Terri Schiavo lived and died.
McLeod also revealed a conflict of interest from local Bishop Robert N. Lynch, whose diocesan legal firm contributed to the campaign to re-elect Florida circuit Judge George Greer.
McLeod concludes: "Meanwhile, if there are any key players in the ongoing Schiavo controversy who do not have a hospice board of director, right-to-die membership, or political campaign contribution conflict of interest to declare, would they please stand up?"

Even worse, I have proof that Michael once spoke to the checkout girl at the Piggly-Wiggly, whose husband worked with a guy that lived next door to the cousin of the Chairman of the Board of the hospice where Terri died!

She's the one who sold Michael Terri's life insurance policy before the "accident."

The cream was bound to come to the top sooner or later. Drip by drip it's starting to filter through, but it's too late for Terri.

Are you sure that Jodi sold a policy on Terri? The company was listed as dealing in commericial insurance and was sold (must have been a going concern) to a Philadelphia company that among other things, insures boards of directors (like, say, Suncoast Hospice would have) against lawsuits.
No need to be so wussy about relationships. Jodi is, under Florida law, Michael Schiavo's common-law wife. And that trumps "girlfriend" or "fiancé."

His girlfriend worked for them at the time, and yes, it was her that sold him Terri's policy. Agents can do that through any company once they're bonded. Insurance sales persons are a dime a dozen, and any company would credit from the sale.
What I didn't know was the two of them started their own company later. That's new.

I think so. The courts just took Greer's word for it and looked the other way.
Even the autopsy guy got his job through the same committee Greer used to sit on before he became a judge.
Sigh.
Unfortunately, no one knows if they were dating at the time Jody sold him the policy. Terri's parents found out about the girl friend AFTER the $2 million dollar settlement. He hid his relationship with the new girl very well until then.
