You are right, Southack. I wouldn't say election 2004 was a poker game; it could be compared to one (as you did).

The Dems were still reeling from their loss(es) of 2000; so obsessed, so desperate, well... I don't think it was too hard to stick one's foot out into the aisle as the Dems were trampling by... The trick, however, is to do it very quickly. Now you see it; now you don't. And like a pack of stacked dominoes.. down with the Dems, and their "money" flooded towns and all kinds of busineses with "fresh food" which then stimulated the economy. Definitely, a jujitsu move. :)

And you know, come to think on it; I stand with Karl Rove: I'm mighty-MIGHTY distressed about that CD being "found". The Walrus and the Carpenter comes to mind..

Quite problematic. Terrible, terrible, terrible news, really...if you're a Dem in a poker game.
