I must've missed the trial. Where was the jury of her peers?

Y'all might want to be careful who you hang out with. If you are pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-Liberty, pro-America and post to FreeRepublic.com, you risk being labeled as an "extremist."

Guess I'll hang out with the extemists! Good to see there are still a few of us around :)

Juries aren't Constitutionally required in state civil matters.

Here's to the dyed-in-the-wool "fanatical" pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-Liberty, pro-American "dangerous zealots" that post to FreeRepublic.com

May extremism abound!

Juries aren't Constitutionally required in state civil matters.

Juries are required in cases where the state may order death. This was one of those cases. Unless, of course, you read the 14th Amendment as only applying to criminals which would be a novel reading.

You know, something like "Terri Schiavo didn't have the benefit of a trial."

When was her trial and what was she found guilty of?

So morality really isn't relative? Maybe I should seek a refund for my tuition from all those pinhead professors that told me otherwise. .

Since when is it constitutional for a civil trial to sentence a person to death?
