"There is one likely reason why the Bush administration cooperated in the suppression of this story."

The Bush Administration didn't "suppress" any story, for one thing, and for another, there are *numerous* reasons why Berger got a light sentence (e.g. he's cooperating as a double-agent for us now).

You know, I'd really like to believe that, but if the Bush Justice Department wanted to recruit Berger as a snitch on the antics of the Clintonista regime, they should have arranged for him to be visibly slammed with prison time, a massive fine, and real public exposure in the form of doing the perp walk, entering a facility of the Bureau of Prisons, all the while assuring his former masters that he isn't talking, that he's going to 'Do a MacDougall' (as in Susan), and then after he gets assigned to a solitary cell (for his own protection, natch), he gets walked right out the back door to an 'undisclosed secure location' where he spends the next several years detailing each and every crime committed during his tenure with the Clintons. After that, a convenient little sit-down is arranged with the Clintons where they are given the choice of quietly leaving public/political life forever, or they face the possibility of a successful prosecution for high treason, with a high probability of facing a military tribunal and subsequent firing squad.

I'd really like to think that something on that order has already taken place, but past events do not inspire confidence.

Let's consider something: our esteemed President may indeed be sincere as the day is long with his campaign to reform Social Security, but if our government is still shot through with traitors who are undermining our Republic, which is the bigger threat? We need to reestablish the House UnAmerican Activities Committee and the Senate Internal Security Committee, and we need someone with the stones of Joe McCarthy to start digging, and to get to the bottom of the question EVERYbody ought to want the answer to:

WHO has been selling out America?

/rant mode off.

re your 23.

If that is the case - when do we get to see the next indictment?

Wouldn't a plea arrangement be public information?

Isn't Sandy Berger a big enough fish to fully prosecute?

How long should we hold out hope that the prosecutor of the BCCI case (now FBI director Mueller) will do a thourough enough investigation here to indict anyone, when he got ZERO convictions there? (just a big fine from the currupt company coffers)

Really, what makes you so hopeful?

Regards,
