Interesting. I wonder why the delegation is limited to five.
Hmmm. I do recall some of Carter's remarks about the current president have been quite unseemly. Maybe this will teach him not to speak ill of the incumbent.
shhh, that's just what we're telling Carter.
3 and 7 are Biblical, and none of the other suitable numbers were prime.
Because Carter was number six on the list?
Probably so Jimmuh can't go along. LOL
I suspect all delegations will be limited, and in all events, the entire production will be a total security nightmare.
The Vatican only gave the USA five VIP seats at the funeral? The US Embassy doesn't have extra bedrooms for more than 5?
It is limited to five for the following reasons:
Jimmy Carter disssed a sitting President. A no-no
Jimmy Carter is a big loose cannon who can't keep his mouth shut. No-one knows what he would say. He doesn't even know.
Jimmy Carter seems to be obsessed with certifying the elections of tyrants. This is a no-no
Jimmy Carter would be number six and we can't have that.
He is truly embarassing and is not suitable for the sophisticated occasion that presents itself.
I remember seeing something on TV about the US wanting to keep its delegation small due to the number of countries sending delegations and the number of people.
Why they chose the number 5 instead of 4 or 6, I can't say, but I know what I hear about them limiting it as much as possible out of consideration of the number of people going overall.
so the 5 are President and Mrs. G.W. Bush, former president Bush and former president Clinton, and Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice?
Does that mean HRC isn't going ?
yeah, I feel reaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllll bad for Jimmuh
