Victim status? You're on the right track. This is not about Bush and Jimmy's criticism of Dubya.

This is about the wishes of the Vatican. When president, Jimmy had the opportunity to attend the funerals of two popes. He snubbed both of them. Jimmy openly opposed the efforts of John Paul II in Latin America. Jimmy supported the Marxist non-Catholic liberation theology. John Paul II opposed Communism in Latin America (more or less).

Claiming victim status is an inherent part of liberation theology .... victim of that globalist conspiracy of the institutional Catholic hierarchy and the private business hierarchy ... but not including the globalist institutional hierarchy of McNamara, Kofi, the world bank, the UN, etc.

A terrorist attack at the Pope's funeral would be suicide for Islam. It would unite the world against Islam. Protestants are already deeply at odds with Islam and an attack would incite an additional one billion catholics.
