TYPE IN THE ZIP CODE TO FIND A SEX OFFENDER IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
You will be amazed with how many are living in your area, so please be aware.
Just click the link at the bottom and type ONLY your ZIP code.
I agree, but one Freeper found one not on his State site that worked for him. But your suggestion of the State plus this one would cover more bases. I just thought this would help, as I have heard about these data base searches; but had never done one before today. They are updated daily.
Thanks
What I don't get is why there is a guy who was convicted on RAPE(not statutory or anything like that) not too far from me and he's only 50 and why is he OUT?!
Then there's a younger guy who was convicted of RAPE OF A CHILD! and he's out and about?!
How many dead or ruined children will we have to see before we throw away the key on most of these people?
I put in a zip code, and I found 2 different offenders with the same exact address.
Throw away the key? No way. I don't want to support them, feed them, clothe them, give them dental, or any other type of healthcare. I think we should treat them in the most humane way and DEHYDRATE them! asap. They wouldn't want to live in prison the rest of their lives anyway.
I went to this site for a look at Colorado: http://sor.state.co.us/default.asp. There are photos on this one, along with addresses and whatnot. I noticed that the list of those who had "failed to register" was twice as long as the ones who were where authorities could find them. On ALL the lists, of those registered, unregistered and multiple offenders, in my estimation, at least 75 percent of them are Hispanic and all Hispanics are listed as "white."
Yikes. I came up with 52 !!! Glad I am not a kid, or have kids. Pretty scary around here.
Thanks.
I tried NY State's. They require that the requester identify themselves and agree to a disclaimer.
I shouldn't have to do that.
They should all be at one address -- behind bars.
There are about a dozen in my zip code. Never heard of any of them.
It seems that Pueblo, CO is a popular site for experienced molesters. It's been a long time since I've owned a gun but I'm thinking of getting one.
Incase somebody wants one for Washington State:

I have one around the corner from us, my teenage daughter knows how he looks like now - this website shows their pic. Updated on a daily basis.
Oh sorry!!! I meant to send this link:

Tried the posted link and received one offender in my area.
Went to the Minnesota offender site and found two offenders.

People might best be served by accomplishing a search for their own particular states offender website.
Write to your Senators and Congressmen. No you should not have to do that. Big Brother is watching you not the felons you wish to watch. But why you could get easy access on the site I provided and not the NYState site is rather odd.
Will post your link: States vary on easy access to information.

62 offenders in my zip code. 24 of them are forced rapists.
Thank you!!!
It appears that each distinguishing characteristic (scar, tattoo, etc.) calls out a separate listing for the same person. Bad database design/management.
