We'd beat him like a red-headed stepchild.
They've used up everyone else BUT hillary. Having run through the seven dwarfs, now it's time for the seven micro-midgets.
Since his campaign finance bill was a flop, why would we expect anything else from him if he were President?
In fact, why would we expect anything else from McCain?
A dark horse eh....hope he can beat Hillary "trojan horse" Clinton
Oh yes, we all know how the DemonRats love people who aren't afraid to toe the party line. Dean was too moderate for them.
John Kerry: Horseface
Russ Feingold: Dark Horse
Hillary Clinton: Cross her, find a horse head in your bed
What do they have in common? They all stink like a horses ass.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hate Feingold so much, words cannot describe it >:( When I found out that my mom (a REPUBLICAN may I say!) voted for him, I wouldn't speak to her all night. Argh.
"We'd beat him like a red-headed stepchild"
With a BAD report card!!
He should stay away from small planes, that's all I got to say.
Goodie, another Mondale.
Major MSM faux pas. Don't they know that McCain is the only "maverick" senator?
The worst thing that could happen is the Democrats actually backing someone that could persuade the undecideds early on in the cycle, even if that means Hillary masking herself as a centrist.
I have to tell you, I'd much rather face Hillary than face Feingold. Feingold may be the most liberal member of the Senate, but people view him as principled and honest, and he somehow has been reelected a couple of times in battleground Wisconsin. I think the Midwest will once again be a battleground region in 2008, and I don't think Feingold will be a pushover. Plus, as a liberal's liberal, Feingold may increase liberal far above what Kerry was able to muster (all Kerry had going for him wass that liberals hated Bush, but none of them really liked Kerry).
I think for the GOP to underestimate Feingold would be like the Democrats underestimating Senator Santorum because "he's such an extremist." The "extremist" Santorum has won statewide in Dem-leaning Pennsylvania twice already (and will win again in 2006, mark my words), and could carry PA, OH, NJ and WV for the GOP, making it impossible for the Democrats to get to 270. In the same manner, if Feingold carries Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan for the Democrats, all they need is one or two small states to flip and the RATs would take the White House.
Our secret weapon against Feingold could be Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, who would run very strong in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan himself. Even if Feingold isn't on the Democrat ticket, I think a Santorum-Pawlenty or Pawlenty-Santorum ticket in 2008 could seal the deal for the GOP.
They could have better luck running an entire horse next time, whether darkhorse or lighthorse- they didn't have much success running horses rear ends, the last couple of elections.
He hasn't got a chance to win the RAT nomination. (unfortunately, since he's a bigger loser than kerry)
