If you think counseling works on a kid (teenager no less)afflicted with FAS/FAE and the brain abnormalities that result in ADHD behaviors- then you haven't tried to raise one.
There are a number who have noticed this trend and written about it, including testifying before Congress: Peter Breggin, Thomas Szasz, Thomas Armstrong and others.

The link doesn't work, so from the excerpt I see no where that these kids were ADHD. That said, I keep waiting for someone to notice the way the rash of school shootings in the U.S. has experienced has coincided with the massive program of uninvolved parenting.
I'm not convinced that the drugs have anything to do with these shootings. A more likely scenario is that the kids were screwballs to begin with.
