Sorry for the dyslexia! I thought you stated that AQ was before the MB. Isee now that you were saying that MB came first.
To: Bogolyubski
it's just nice to see that there are people out there who know that these groups exist and are threats

The Muslim Brotherhood is at odds with Al Qaeda because it has shown signs of advocating democratization in Egypt. The Muslims Brotherhood are the fathers of Al-Qaeda. Sorry but some info from a blog that has its source from a Princeton Professor just doesnt cut it!
The MB are the last people we want in power. This is a war against IslamoFacism and the last thing we should be doing is negotiating with IsalmoFacists!
To: Joseph_CutlerUSA
What the MB is doing is called Taqiya which is the Islamic doctrine that it is okay to lie to advance their cause. Their history speaks louder than what they claim they stand for NOW!
To: Bogolyubski
According to the latest in Wilsonian Foggy Bottom theory, jihadis like the MB and AQ will put down their AK-47s and swords once they start having to run the schools, fix the roads, keep the used-camel salesmen in business, etc. We saw how well that worked with the PA once the Oslo "peace process" set them up in charge of places like Gaza and Ramallah. The Oslo idea worked so well in Gaza and the West Bank (The camel trails in Gaza are surely a model of contemporary infrastructure design!) that the Foggy Bottom gang is now talking to Hamas (Lebanon) and the MB (Egypt) as well. Islamic Jihad and Hamas provide "social services" in Lebanon. They're still terrorist organizations and most Lebanese want them out too.

Disingenuous to try to paint Muslim Brothers working at Foggy Bottom as the US when propagating this so called reaching out to Muslim Brotherhood.

The State Department believes that Washington can contain the group and its ilk through dialogue. And if you believe that one, pass the big fat doobi, I've got another bridge to sell you.
We legitimized the PLO, KLA and others and see how well we control them. /sarcasm

Well now that the Chechins and the KLA are half legitimized, Hezbullah, Islamic Jihad and Al Asqa Brigades should be next. Why we can have a terrorist Whos-who pow-wow in DC. Maybe Bin Ladin can be a guest speaker?
What is it about that location that rots everyone's brain? Some ancient demonic curse? Indian revenge? A disturbed burial ground for pets?

You are right and guess who their main beneficiaries are: yup the cute and cuddly House of Saud. Evil incarnate themselves.

Liberalism just can't tolerate the idea that there are people who are evil, you see Pure and simple BS, stop your lies. It's a well established fact, friend, that there are over 1 billion evil people: they're called faithful Christians. Ssssh.

Well heck, we're giving Chechin terrorists assylum, castrating the Israelies from exterminating the evil on their borders, supporting the KLA in it's battle against evil Serbian grandmothers and churches, ignoring the mass extermination of 2 million Sudanese Christians (who sit on oil fields destined for Chinese consumption, while we frat over 10,000 dead muslims in Dafir), arming Pakistan (the main backer of terror in Kashmir and the creators of the Taliban) and ignoring the House of Saud that sends it's boys to kill ours in Iraq while it stockpiles WMD (gas) and chinese missiles.
House of Saud should be our first target, suck the islamics dry of their funding. Then move on to Iran/Syria/KLA, etc

The enemy of my enemy is my friend just doesn't work with muslims!
The koran teaches them that lying, stealing, cheating, killing of non-muslims is the muslim way of life!

However, if they're at odds with Al Qaeda and promoting democracy in Egypt, than working with them -could- be advantageous Their at odds with AL-Qaeda (at least they claim) over peanuts. They both have the same goal and that is more than enough evidence to warrant their destruction.
