Woman Charged in Michael Schiavo Death Threat
A California woman is facing federal charges for allegedly threatening to kill Michael Schiavo if Terri Schiavo died.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has charged Dera Marie Jones, 32, of San Francisco, for posting a message on the America Online (AOL) message board saying that if she dies, I will kill Michael Schiavo and the judge This for real.

Mourners Gathered To Celebrate Terri's Life
As the sun began to set, members of Terri Schindler-Schiavos family and friends filled the Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church Tuesday, April 6. As music echoed into the parking lot, tears flowed from over a thousand mourners. The area around the church was filled with media from all over, who did keep away from those who came to honor the life of Terri Schindler Schiavo.

Sen. Martinez Aide Resigns Over Schiavo Memo
Florida Senator Mel Martinez, a Republican, has admitted that the unsigned memo circulated among Congress that called the Terri Schiavo case a great political issue was written by a senior member of his staff.
Although Martinez did not name the staff member, informed sources say that the author of the memo which said that the removal of Terri Schiavos feeding tube was a tough issue for Democrats was attorney Brian Darling, 39, a former lobbyist. He has resigned his position

Zogby Poll Shows Americans Favored Terris Survival

According to polls published by the mainstream media, particularly one by ABC News, it was indicated that most Americans favored the removal of the nutrition and hydration of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, the 41-year-old disabled woman who died of starvation and thirst March 31 in a court-ordered death in Florida.
ABCs poll was criticized for being worded in a slanted fashion.

Schiavo Priest Says Living Wills, Autopsy Not The Answer
Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life who gave the homily at the funeral Mass in Gulfport, Fl., for Terri Schiavo Tuesday evening, April 5, issued a statement Thursday that whatever the autopsy results for the disabled woman show are irrelevant to the moral judgment that she was murdered.
The level of brain damage that she had can never justify what was done to her, Pavone said. Life does not lose its value and dignity when it is damaged

Agreed. Living Wills are partly what got us into this mess to begin with.
