They are all corrupt. I am starting to see that everywhere I go there is Corruption. Crap, it is going on even in my own church for pete's sakes!! I just can't believe all the crap people are involved in. It alludes quite frankly!!

I don't trust any of them anymore! The state or the church!! I am just going to trust my God and do what I can to fight all this nonsense!

Hey, they had the swat team at Hospice Woodside, I didn't. They were hiding in the apartment balconies next to hospice. I don't make this stuff up.

Well keeping up with King could be compared to changing dirty diapers. It's a stinky job but someone has to do it. 8^)

I'm proudly showing one of these bumper stickers on my big SUV and hopefully they'll be seen all around Jacksonville in the near future.

I spoke with a gentlemen in the Jax Elder Affairs and asked about whether they supported King's vote on Terri and Medicaid reform. He knew nothing of it and said to his knowledge they haven't received any request for support of a candidate or an issue. He said maybe the Elder Affairs on the state level have made such statements but he did not know if they had. The boss is in Tally today and he told me I could call back tomorrow. I told him about King's quote about "people like Terri" and how King's statements end up all around Florida and 'not' in his district. He asked me to email it to their office so he can let his boss know. I told him my older friend at church is concerned whether older folks are included in King's group of others like Terri.

The best way I can think of to get the word out to many folks about the horrors of dehydration/starvation is by writing letters to editors, calling talk shows and posting board. If anyone has any other ideas, I'm all ears.

What is this supposed to mean? I am quite well informed on the subject matter of this thread, and really don't give a rat's ass what you think. This entire thread is a massive cluster f***. You all just talk about how much you really really care about Terri Schiavo, but nothing you've done here or anywhere has accomplished anything. She's still dead. Have you grasped that? She never knew all of the "great works" you folks did by crying and bemoaning her fate, and she couldn't have cared less. She's dead. Let her rest in peace.

Terri's death was the beginning,not the end. She is physically gone now and nothing we do affects her anymore so letting her "rest in peace" isn't an issue, so give me another reason why we should throw in the towel and turn our back on defenseless people being killed?For me, Terri dieing has made me more determined than ever to speak out. No more money, no more campaigning, and no more poll working until these guys start standing up and checking the judicial system.

They now can drug, and will get orders from the judge to have the victim drugged against there will , so they will be put out of there minds, in hopes they don't testify in a court proceeding exposing them so they can then get free, out from under there snare.

Next they have one of there good old boys (a doc.) to come in and sign the patient has (a) mental problem, (b) alzh. (c) dementia etc. so they can keep complete control over that loved one or even yourself. Then its onto the Death Camp they have selected for you , that county council there county attorney has ties with to avoid a lawsuit down the road when your precious love one dies.

THIS seems to fit the horror stories being told in Pinellas County (geriatric murder capital of the world)

What seems to be true is that PROBATE courts have historically robbed the estates of dead people, before it any remainder was divied up amongst relatives.

NOW, probate courts have evolved into robbing primarily the ELDERLY of theirs estates BEFORE they die, and sending them to an early hospice.
(apparently they don't want the medical community to get too much of it)

These elderly people are being TOTALLY deceived. They should not even entertain the idea of a "living will". In fact, we should be educating everyone we know to have a REAL living will drawn up DEMANDING that everything known to modern medicine be done for them and that food and water are NOT to be withdrawn from them under ANY circumstances. I read an article where the euthanasia group are designing a so called living will which is actually a document which will end up getting them Terri-ized!!! I find the elders for the most part, very gullible. I also think it's an absolutely EXCELLENT idea for Republicans to start peppering the RNC with demands for their support to END such a thing happening ever again and threatening to resign from holding a Republican membership or donating to them if it's not done PRONTO as in IMMEDIATELY. Republicans should also demand to KNOW in writing HOW their representative voted and intends to vote on this issue. Their feet, every single GOP politicans, need to be held to the fire. NO passes.

HOW would you KNOW what Terri KNEW????? Now that is really presumptious of you. HOWEVER, I agree, the fight was unsuccessful. Personally, I would have liked to see an armed revolt. But it didn't happen. People are not afraid enough yet to rise up to that point and others just plain don't agree with me. But I HONESTLY BELIEVE that it may HAVE to come to that. The Courts and the Government swatted the protesters off like irritating mosquitos. They knew they would get through it. But as to Terri, I think it was very obvious that she KNEW what was happening and that she made her wishes to CONTINUE TO LIVE known. What was done to her and is apparently being done to others is CRIMINAL and it is TORTURE.
