Theresa Marie Schindler... May Daily Thread 2005 CALL TO ACTION: Our Fight for Justice Continues
Various Sources ^ | April 3, 2005 | floriduh voter

Posted on 04/03/2005 5:19:05 PM PDT by floriduh voter

Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.

I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.

There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.

The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.

I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.

Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.

PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.

HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.

Thanks, FV

Tom DeLay did absolutely nothing wrong, but Nancy Pelosi keeps accusing Tom DeLay of wrongdoing.

This is poetic justice:

http://www.washtimes.com/national/2...15645-8030r.htm

By Charles Hurt
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

House Republicans yesterday called on Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to provide documentation to prove that a Washington lobbyist firm did not pay for a trip she and other Democrats took to Puerto Rico in 2001.

"We feel that such lingering questions undermine the integrity of the institution and we hope [the questions] will be cleared up as soon as possible," wrote Republican Reps. Patrick T. McHenry of North Carolina and Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia.

The Washington Times reported earlier this week that Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Ohio Democrat and member of the House ethics committee, listed a registered lobbyist as the trip's sponsor. House rules prohibit registered lobbyists from paying for travel by members.

On travel disclosure forms filed with the House clerk, Mrs. Pelosi and others on the trip listed a group called Todo Puerto Rico con Vieques as its sponsor.

After the discrepancy was made public, Mrs. Jones amended her travel disclosure form to match those of Mrs. Pelosi and other travelers. A spokeswoman in Mrs. Jones' office blamed the conflicting information on "human error" but declined to provide proof that the trip was paid for by Todo Puerto Rico con Vieques, rather than D.C. lobbyist Smith, Dawson & Andrews.

Well, Larry... that was such a confusing night... that is to say, confusing as to
whether I broke her legs before I sat on her back and punched her fat head...
or whether broke her ribs before I strangled the sh!t out of her.

Anyway, Larry... I knew she didn't want to live any more, because she said she
wanted to divorce me. I mean, geeeeez Larry... what else was I supposed
to do?

Furcrisakes, I got Jodi and two kids and I need a fancy schmancy new
car and all... I mean, when the hell is that b!tch gonna die??? ;-))

Yes, I've been wondering for some while why he lied to make it seem that he got home much earlier than he did. Presumably he was trying to leave a false scent, to draw attention away from something later on. And notice the studiedly I-don't-know-nuthin' account of what must have been the most traumatic, memorable night of his life.

My guess is that he resumed the fight the minute he got home -- later than any time he admits to. Maybe much later. He might have gone out drinking for a time after he left the restaurant.

Michael has a nasty temper and he doesn't have any work ethic. That evening, at work, he was probably seething at Terri for spending the $80 at the beauty salon. Probably getting even madder because here he was, forced to work at a poor job earning the money to pay for it. One has to figure he came home in a fury.

But when? That big gap between closing the restaurant at maybe 2:00 a.m. and the emergency calls after 6:00 a.m. What happened? Did he assault her earlier than that 5:00-somthing hour? Terri couldn't have gone that long without oxygen but there are possible ways to explain such a scenario.

That period of several hours needs some explaining.

Have you not caught on that I am mocking people? Maybe if you lived in Florida you would have a better understanding of why I mock it.

If you want to check on the globalists, Poppy coined the phrase "a new world order" but I'll take it back so your head won't explode.

The group did cease and desist. They were actually not one group but two and somehow got roped together. I was not a part of either group.

Are We Becoming A Nazi-Like Nation?

By Ron Panzer
President Hospice Patients Alliance
April 24, 2005

EXCERPTS

I can't help asking the nagging questions that some continually push away. When not-so-subtle or even blatant pressures are applied to certain categories of individuals in order to "facilitate" their death, is our society becoming more like the Nazi Third Reich than the land of the free? When patients are kept alive for the express purpose of having them eventually killed, is our society becoming more like the Nazi Third Reich? We are not targeting ethnic groups for extermination, but our society is targeting the elderly, severely disabled and chronically ill.

How is it that in this modern, compassionate society, with the "very best" in health care available, we have people dying of dehydration, dying of malnutrition because they don't get enough food and bed sores because they are not being turned enough. These are the most basic of care needs and our society is not doing a very good job in the nursing homes that care for the vulnerable, dependent citizens of our country.

The Compassion in Dying organization encourages the use of terminal sedation as a legally acceptable way of ending the patient's life:

"Terminal sedation has been proposed as an alternative to physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients with severe symptoms. This method does not require changes in the law. The patient is sedated to unconsciousness to relieve severe physical suffering and is then allowed to die of dehydration or some other intervening complication. Terminal sedation is ethically considered to be a combination of aggressive symptom management (sedatives to treat unbearable symptoms) and withdrawal of life-sustaining therapy (fluids, nutrition, and other treatments). When considered as an aggregate act, terminal sedation may be more morally complex and ambiguous than is generally acknowledged, but many persons who adamantly oppose physician-assisted suicide find this practice acceptable. The practice differs from euthanasia in that the dose of medication is maintained but not increased once sedation is achieved and no subsequent intervention to accelerate death, such as the introduction of a muscle paralyzing agent, is given."

"Terminal sedation allows health care providers to respond to a much wider range of suffering than would physician-assisted suicide even if it were legalized, because the latter would be restricted to competent terminally ill patients who are capable of self-administration."

I feel helpless except to bump these threads.

I am beyond outrage about Gov. Jeb Bush representing the U.S.A. at the new Pope's installation. Guess we have no choice but to swallow it. Jeb Bush was the last man to turn his back on Terri - and this while the Pope was on his death bed but still praying and working for Terri's life to be saved. It's the darndest thing.

I think Karl Rove thought we'd be pacified if they sent Jeb Bush to this and we'd all shut up. Jeb Bush would look like a loved-filled Catholic - oh, look how Jeb Bush honors and loves the new Pope! Like we're that gullible and stupid. The paper said Jeb converted to Catholicism five years ago. Like we're supposed to roll over and forget what happened to Terri.

It's absolutely horrifying.

I'm looking for the court recrods that refer to bulimia. Where does it appear as part of Terri Schiavo's court record? Is this just more rhetoric thrown out and then repeated until it's true? All I can find is where MS says it is not true.
