I am always amazed at the human capacity to justify ones self by selective remembering, inflating certain aspects and neglecting other aspects entirely in a given situation.
As the article points out, Jews and Christians living in Muslim society were 'social inferiors'. Muslim women today still fall into that category. Ask the average husband in the Middle East if his wife has it good, he will extoll how great of a husband/provider he is, and how lucky she is to have him looking out for her. Just don't ask him to let her drive, vote, own anything etc..
When "TSHTF" happens in Europe, and the muslim garbage start their jihad of terrorism and killing, it's going to get very, very ugly. "Old Europe" is burnt toast.

Interesting. One of the motives for Old Europe to behave like this is pique and anger and envy for America. Yet how will committing cultural suicide help them show their superiority to Americans?
They are like a childish little boy who in a fit of anger deliberately hurts himself in order to get sympathy from someone he hates. That only makes things worse.
Incidentally, "birth rates have declined precipitately" should be "precipitously." "precipitately" means to be hurled down from a height or to fall like rain or snow.
I can think of one other time when an organized, violent, racist minority forced its way into a power it had not earned. The Europeans are insistent that they, and not we, learned lessons from World War Two, but did they really?
